The ambience of the place is awesome. Gives a good Bali feel. The staff here is very cordial - be it at the reception or restaurant and special call-out to Koming, Bobi & Ebi who were attending to us. Always warm with a smiling face. The food is good as well and good options for breakfast and other meals.

So I don't know where to start with this hotel!! We are currently on a tour and have already gotten to know many hotels in Bali but unfortunately this hotel is one of the worst. So the welcome was super nice, as you would expect in Bali, it was nice everywhere. The room there it starts. We lived in a room (110) on the lower floor, unfortunately it smelled really musty and moldy, so it was really good that we were only there for one night otherwise we would have changed rooms or even changed hotels. The bathroom was good, good idea with the partially open shower, so the air there was better than in the bedroom, there you have to fight with rising damp in the walls, where the horizontal barrier no longer does what it was there for, that doesn't help either Simply stick a plasterboard panel against the wall because that will make it much worse because it will prevent the wall from drying out naturally. The rooms should under no circumstances be rented out anymore because it is a total health risk. Then the pool was totally green because there is a lack of maintenance if you don't have a sea or If you have a beach you need at least a nice, usable pool. The loungers were good and reasonably comfortable, towels were clean. Unfortunately, the breakfast was also one of the worst we had on our trip. With reluctance you could order something else, but the service staff there didn't take kindly to that, it was also the worst service we have experienced so far. This staff wasn't as friendly as we've gotten to know in Bali so far, so it doesn't help if you're given a card from Hollideycheck (name Do...)... (that's why they have the service stars deducted too). This really annoyed us and we told our tour guide about it, so the so-called alacarte breakfast also left a lot to be desired. By the way, when we said goodbye, the Hollideycheck card was also given to ask for an entry, which I will then do at home and the entry will definitely not be any better. Oh well, the hotel is about 3-5 km away from Ubud, but there are shops nearby, a very good pizzeria (external service) and an exchange office, there isn't much else. So very manageable. Conclusion if you book only for the upper floor and perhaps only for a short trip or transit. Attention: no sea or beach. How can you rate a hotel like this so well??? Maybe because of the gardens? it's really beautiful.

Nice and beautiful hotel. Beautiful room, wonderful beds. Good bathroom, lacks extra towel hooks and is open, which is not nice because of. mosquitoes. |Breakfast, lunch and dinner very good and delicious. …

Lovely staff. Value for money hotel. A bit lacking for a 4* hotel, I would rate it as a 3. 5* accommodation as towels are a bit worn; chairs on balcony are a bit grubby; no bathrobe. The staff are wonderful and very helpful!
