This accommodation is very well maintained with friendly staff at 15 minutes from the port. The owner takes care of everything. Transport to the port, organization of the kellingKing visit. His son Surya provided us safe transportation. We had a great experience with them in Nusa Penida.

One of the accommodations in Nusa Penida.The location is not far from Toyopakeh Harbor.Facilities in the room are:- Cupboard.- AC- Water Heater- Aminities- Pillow- BlanketAnd there is a swimming pool tooSo, the check out time is 11 am, hehe

The owner is really friendly and helpful. He can arrange transport, boattrips and will give some good advise if needed. You can also rent scooters if you want, do recommend this.Nice pool and big, clean rooms!

This is a lovely bungalow hotel with an incredibly kind and friendly owner. There is a scooter hire nearby which you will need if you want to head anywhere as the area is fairly empty. Rooms have basic facilities - nicely designed.

My stay at Surya Maha Bungallo in Nusa Penida was nothing short of amazing! This property is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located, making it a great base for exploring the island.However, what really sets this place apart is the hospitality offered by Pak Surya and his wonderful family. They go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. We had an incident where we forgot an item, and they were instrumental in helping us retrieve it without any fuss.I would highly recommend booking a day tour of Nusa Penida through them as well. The entire experience was hassle-free, and we couldnāt have asked for better guides to this beautiful island.Donāt miss out on their arrival and departure pick-up service from the ferry; itās reliable and makes the logistics a breeze.All in all, Surya Maha Bungallo is a top-notch choice for anyone visiting Nusa Penida. We canāt wait to return!

Good quality/price place to sleep in Nusa Penida. The rooms are correct and all face the garden with a pool and various vegetation. The man who takes care of the facility is very attentive and has many contacts around the island to get different services (motorcycles, snorkel boats, taxis, locations...)

Very nice place to stay. Everything is clean. Very nice garden, that is taken very good care of. They also do everything to keep the pool clean and cool.Room is big enough and clean, bathroom is big and also clean, only the floor was a bit sandy. The bed is very comfortable and the AC is silently doing itās job.The hosts are super friendly.The only complaint I have, is about the breakfast: It is as minimal as at cheaper places. You order the evening before, so they will be ready in the morning. Thatās indeed a good idea, only they were not. I ordered coffee with milk, there was no milk. So I asked for milk, I was given a little package of (Swiss) chocolate milk. I tried to explain, that this does not really go with coffee. Well, they did go and get some canned milk for me(+). Also I ordered pancake without cheese (for some reason they top their pancake with cheese ). I got my pancake with cheese.Long story short go without breakfast and you will have a great stay at this place.

Stay was ok, nothing more and nothing less. Cleanliness could be better, towels and bed linen musty and dirty in spots (but freshly washed). Bathroom had no fresh air supply and the neighbors' air conditioning was loud.The house is probably run by father and son. The son did the tour very well. However, it has more of a private family feeling than a hotel feeling, the father (certainly not meant in a bad way) is very present, likes to ask where you are going, how to get back, etc. Offers taxi services for the same price or even a little more expensive than the local taxi company, you could get a fairer price for hotel guests (especially since taxis on Nusa Pendia are significantly more expensive than on Bali).Immediately upon check-in you are āambushedā and the tours are sold. I would appreciate it if you could check in first and let yourself relax. The East trip was a lot more worth seeing, the West trip was not recommended (in the West it was incredibly full of influencers and tourists), the East was significantly emptier.Snorkel tour through the hotel worked well, fair price, very worthwhile.Not enough of a hotel feeling for us, so not a second time.
