I can highly recommend staying at Dekaka Homestay. The hosts are super friendly, warm-hearted and helpful, really making you feel welcomed and at home. We had a little emergency while out on a day-trip to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and they really went the extra mile in helping us to solve the situation!The rooms are clean with comfy beds and there is a shared kitchen you can use to prepare your own food. You will be staying in the same house as the hosts, but they value your privacy giving you all the space you need while also being up for a lovely chat if you fancy. Moreover they can help you arrange motorbike rental.Thank you Dekaka!

First time staying at a homestay. The homestay is on the side of the main road so it is easy to find. The vibe is old school, so it feels like staying at grandpa's house. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The floor is clean & the bedside table is not dusty, the AC is cold, and the environment is quiet for resting (only the sound of vehicles). The owner is friendly & kind, allowed to add 2 hours without charge, thank you very much. His mother cooked fried rice & hot tea for breakfast. Very memorable when staying here.
