It is the classic old hotel which has been in service for a long long time. The price is very cheap. I really like the service mind of the staffs. The Yala Rama cafe located in the hotel also service everyday from breakfadt to dinner with variety of delicious foods.

Experience booking accommodation at this hotel. Call to reserve. OK. The staff can make a reservation. Enough before the day of stay I called to request a transfer of reservation money. Called and asked the staff (I don't know which one) and they said there was no need to transfer the reservation. I then asked if the room would be unbooked. The employee replied that it didn't fall off. I'm okay with that. When I checked in, I released the room I had reserved. The staff said the room was full. Without listening to my explanation I only said that the room was full. Reservation management is the worst.

5 to 10 minutes walk from the station. The price was 550 baht for a cheap room. In my case there was no deposit.There is a kind-looking old man standing at the entrance, and he will take your luggage right away. The lady at the front desk is also very responsive.There is no hair dryer in the room, but you can borrow it.Although the building is old overall, it is well-maintained and has a pleasant feel.I wasn't sure about the air conditioner settings, but they fixed it right away.I think this service at this price is very good.It's not a special tourist spot, so there were no foreigners and it was very quiet.A refrigerator, 2 free bottles of water, 2 soaps, 2 shampoos, and 2 bath towels are provided.No face towels, conditioner, or safe.

Recommended. Cool, private atmosphere. Every menu is delicious. The waiter takes good care of you. Plus the price is very cheap. (This price can't be found anymore. Restaurant quality, reasonable prices)

Went to work on regular breaks, clean room, nice staff. Someone helps carry things. The parking lot has no roof. It's good. Located in the city, easy to travel.

Very friendly staff, but old hotel - ok for a night.Yala doesn't seem to have many hotels to start with, and prices (online) are well above average compared to other parts of Thailand. We ended up staying at Rama Hotel as it was conveniently located in the city centre, has parking, and 550B walk in rate.The building is old, and although there seems to be some effort to upgrade the rooms, it's still rather old and rough around the edges. Our standard room was ok for a night, it has a newish Aircon, very old mini fridge and a Smart TV, yes indeed a Smart TV!Another surprising feature is a WiFi router in the room. Internet was fast and reliable.The bed was very hard, although not quite the hardest we've encountered in Thailand – but close.One thing that really stood out was how friendly and accommodating the staff was, especially the concierge, who was also our porter and parking lot assistant.BTW: the hotel is quite close to the train station and also about a 15min walk from the Bamboo market, unfortunately we visited on a Sunday, when the market it not in operation.Given that there are not many budget options in Yala, and the friendly staff it's a 4-star rating from us. In other parts of Thailand we would be inclined to only rate 3 stars for a similar experience.

The bed mattress IS HARD as a slab of wooden plank. If thats is your thing then this hotel is super great.Its cheap. Only 550 baht per night.High room availability rate. Great for walks in and emergency night.Got a wifi router right in your room next to bed stand.

There are a lot of buildings, and the parking lot is always full. You have to park on the side of the road. bathroom shower Suite room 900 baht Size approximately 1.5 rooms or 40 sq m. No balcony, drafty, open the window and no breeze. 2 Daikin air conditioners, 11,000btu, TV approximately 32 inches Pillows and blankets are 2 star quality, washed clean but like they were folded and kept for a long time, so the smell doesn't smell good. The towels were clean but didn't smell as good as if they had been folded for a long time. The floor is carpet but has an old smell. It would be better if it was changed to clean tiles. Normal room 550 baht It's according to the price. no breakfast Rest before continuing your journey.
