Paseban Mountain View Camping Ground

Crazy! That's the first impression of camping at this location. The start of the journey was quite challenging with road conditions that were uphill and winding between cliffs and ravines before reaching the location. There are several extreme inclines & several points where the road conditions are quite damaged but can be traversed by motorbikes and small to medium sized cars.The camp location is on a steep slope with a slope of around 45° to. 50° is enough to make your breath run out & your heart beat fast when you walk up to the highest area in block C.All the suffering seemed to be erased by the good, clean & tidy condition of the camping ground area. Beautiful panorama & quite complete facilities:The camping ground area consists of 3 terrace blocks (A, B & C) with a flat surface planted with grass.The neatly and naturally arranged cliffs & stone steps look beautiful at night.There is a mini garden equipped with several garden benches.Bright lighting equipped with Tumblr lights & spotlights. There is no scary impression at night.There is a swimming pool with natural water flow directly from the mountains.WiFi access with a relatively strong signal.There are many electrical plugs/plugs for charging purposes.Sanitation in the form of clean water taps is widely available relatively close to the tent position.Clean toilet with sitting toilet & bath shower. The available water is also very abundant.Trash bins are also provided in each block area.The parking area is maintained & quite spacious.Camping equipment is available for rent such as tents, flysheets, mattresses, folding tables & benches, stoves, etc.Firewood is provided at a price of Rp. 50 thousand per bunch.Outside the camp location (in front) there is also a shop selling logistics for camping needs.HTM per day:Rp. 200 thousand to 250 thousand for the weekend (weekend) Friday to Sunday.Rp. 150 thousand to 200 thousand outside the weekend (Weekday) Monday to Thursday.The price is for a tent plot with a capacity of 4 people (bring your own). Prices as of July 2024. These costs include vehicle parking.Although in my opinion the price of camping here is relatively expensive, it is commensurate with the facilities available.Throughout the journey from the T-junction in the direction of Cilember to this location there are no fees whatsoever. Coincidentally we came here not on the weekend.The location is on the southwest mountain slopes of Mount Paseban, precisely on Jl. Situhiang District. Megamendung, Kab. Bogor, West Java.This camping area is located between mountains whose vegetation is dominated by pine and resin trees. The elevation of this place is at an altitude of 1030 to 1060 meters above sea level.The climate is cool with the highest temperature around 25°C during the day and the lowest reaching 12°C in the morning (at 4.00 in the morning). Quite cold.It is not recommended for elderly visitors to camp at this location because the position of the camp area is on a fairly extreme mountain slope. Likewise, children, especially toddlers, should be under extra supervision.My advice to camp managers is that they should provide a hut/gazebo for shelter if there are visitors who come when it rains and haven't had time to put up a tent.Likewise, toilets should be added so that you don't have to queue for too long when it's full of visitors.Please also provide posts & doors/bars in front of the camp area for the safety of parked vehicles.This camp area is suitable for cheerful gathering/camping for families, communities, pupils, students & workers.But it is not suitable for campervans due to limited area.Note for visitors: The tap water here is sometimes a little cloudy because of the soil and sand carried by the water flow in this place which comes from the mountains, especially after it rains. It is best to provide a water faucet filter for consumption and cooking purposes.This camp area does not have any large trees. So you can't put a hammock on.That way, also provide poles for attaching the flysheet if necessary.Because the location is quite open, please be careful during the windy season.Also provide citronella oil/insect repellent lotion. My experience of camping here is that there are quite a lot of insects.From numbers 1 to 10, I chose the score for this camp location as 8. Good!

The camp area is clean, water is abundant, Kang Jajang is also friendly & very fast. The lowest temperature was 14⁰, so I couldn't sleep because it was cold. The view is top notch... really nice, even though it's from block B. The swimming pool is also clean.

The first time I went to the top, I stayed at a camping ground like this, it turned out that the feeling of gathering and holidaying was more exciting and definitely a new experience. Recommend for those who are looking for a place to holiday at Puncak with a different feel and view 🌟
