The room is very nice but small, so you have to leave your bags in the bathroom, but since it is open it is not the best for safety. The private swimming pool is very beautiful, there is an internal cave and lights for the evening which are very effective. There is also a small kitchen outside. There is no reception. The hotel is not well signposted so you risk getting lost. The exterior of the hotel is dilapidated. Cleanliness isn't the best. Outside the hotel there is a repeater for the call to prayer which makes it very loud.

The reception was not there. A nice employee came to meet us at the port to show us the way, which was a 15 minute walk, but did not offer to help us with our suitcases. The only help offered was a carriage with a gold horse refusing to make the animals suffer. Moreover, the location being so lost and remote that we had to take dusty and dirty paths, our feet were black with dirt.At the end of the journey, you have to cross a path filled with relatively aggressive cows.The room was too small, so you have to leave your belongings in the bathroom which is larger than the room but open to the outside where it is hot and humid which means that your clothes are always damp.The equipment is very old, dilapidated, moldy and even dangerous. Rust in the bathroom is really not acceptable.When we left the first evening, the cows in front of the establishment which were unchained charged us which scared us very much. The roads around the hotel are of very poor quality, which caused my campaign to stumble and ended up at the medical center.There is also new construction that has started in front of the establishment which makes rest impossible.Finally, the price does not at all reflect the quality of both the establishment and the service.´

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at The Cove. The pool villas are so spacious with beautiful gardens and nature surrounding them. They really have the attention to detail spot on here, everything has been so well thought out.The staff are so lovely too 😊No need to look any further for your perfect place to stay on Gili Air, just press book! I can assure you, you won't regret it 🩷

I had an amazing stay at The Cove. Such an amazing property with a fantastic pool in a quiet location on Gili Air. The owner was very communicative and made us feel welcome on the island. Definitely book here for your stay on Gili Air!

I’ve stayed in many private pool villas in gili air, but I would say this is my favorite. Stunning space amidst a beautiful coconut plantation, with a very spacious garden. The pool is a perfect size with a great outside bar seating area and kitchen. Bed is incredibly comfortable, and a good size bathroom. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, assisting to all my needs. Do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself.

I just had a one night stay here and it was some very much need R + R. Loved the pool and waterfall and little cave so much. Spent most of my time there just relaxing and watching an epic lightning storm. Had a lot of space around the outside area to chill. I liked that is was out of the way, so felt very secluded, but pretty close to some good restaurants. The bed was amazing, first good sleep I had in a very long time since traveling indonesian. The outdoor shower area was also really nice, felt like I was showering under the stars. I didn't want to leave the next day but got the rest I needed. Thanks for the stay.

We had an amazing stay!!! Best sleep we had in weeks here! Super cool stylish villa. Huge bathroom, beautiful pool with a grotto and a waterfall. The kitchen + bar area outside was useful! The bed, the sheets , and blankets were proper 5 Star hotel ones.Nicely bohemian decorated.The owner is awesome 👌
