I just wanted to thank Greg Ford and Donna Farrow for making our stay at Asmara Villa - Gilli Air, homely, enjoyable, peaceful, relaxing and fun!Upon arrival, we were shown around the stunning 2 storey, 2 bedroom and 2-bathroom villa. The entire villa is open and spacious with a mezzanine level on the top floor with its own outdoor living area providing extra entertainment space, or a quiet nook to practice yoga. Beautiful traditional outdoor furniture and stunning views of the pool and downstairs living areas, provide a sense of privacy with its own separate wing for guests. The colour scheme is bright and fresh with white rafters and traditional thatched roofing. The larger living and dining area downstairs is open to the kitchen and pool area, creating fluidity between indoor and outdoor living. The décor is contrasted by crisp white and deep blues giving a soothing and cooling effect throughout the downstairs living area. Large ceiling fans ensure sufficient ventilation and air is circulated making this a comfortable and pleasant space to entertain, dine or read a book.Again, I want to thank you both for your hospitality and generosity that made our holiday so memorable and magical. We have not had a holiday this relaxing and enjoyable in many years. This really was a first class experience and we hope to return again one day.RegardsJody and Chris

What an amazing gem tucked just back from the beach. The Villa was huge for the three of us, and the pool is perfect!The staff were so friendly and always willing to take the extra time to explain things related to the villa or the surrounding island.This villa is a stones throw from some of the best restaurants on the island. We hired bikes through the villa and the staff organised delivery to our door.Villa Asmara is a must stay location on Gili Air, It's just that good.We'll definitely be coming back.

This is a little oasis away from the bustle. A gorgeous villa with a beautiful clean pool and push bikes at the door so you can cycle the island at ease. Plenty of room for a family or friends - upstairs and downstairs accomodation with central kitchen and eating below plus additional lounge area upstairs. You will see the most amazing sunsets …and meet the most generous and gentle souls! Heaven on earth …. Don’t tell too many ….

This is the third time I have rented Villa Asmara on Gili Air. It is a real little paradise on earth. I love to live. Greg and Donna, the owners are anxious to make our most comfortable stay possible.The house is very well decorated. The bedding is particularly neat with sheets that are extremely soft. Everything is clean and beautifully maintained, I warmly recommend Villa Asmara on Gili Air.

Very warm welcome, easy to have meals delivered because the instructions in the welcome book are complete, fridge well stocked on arrival, everything is well maintained and clean. Owner attentive and helpful but not intrusive. An address that I warmly recommend and we will come back! Well done Dona and Greg.
