Lovely place to stay, 5 minutes walk from the centre, breakfast included (delicious, eggs, toast, avocado and fresh fruit!!), owner is lovely just be careful of the mosquitoes!

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our time. The room was a bit shabby but fine, and the breakfast was really nice. The woman who runs it is really sweet. It was a bit off the beaten path which meant it was quiet at night!

Simple bungalow but very comfortable bed and very nice little fridge.Drinking water available. The owner is really very kind and helpful.The breakfast is amazing, with two eggs and fresh fruit, plus toast. Unbeatable value for money.Ideal location, close to the center but quiet. Thanks again!

I enjoyed staying at Pai Modern House despite the reviews.The owner is very sweet and helpful.The room is simple but comfortable enough to spend a good night, and the bed was the first normal bed I had in Thailand ! No hard mattress here, but a good one to sleep well.There is complimentary water, and you can also refill your water for free in the breakfast area.Breakfast was amazingly good and generous !Not far from town but very calm.

Honestly, I personally wouldn't have given 5 stars because the room disappointed the initial expectations a bit, very very simple and the thermal insulation practically doesn't exist, then classic Asian problems, slightly stained sheets.However, this does not affect the fact that for the price paid, the location and the atmosphere that is there, considering the will and the excellent breakfast it deserves 6 stars, be less fussy, enjoy the nature and the peace that is in this place

Dirty room full of ants. Very very disappointed. I was supposed to spend 3 nights there, finally I requested a refund and left before even having slept there.

The room had moldy smell and I had to move another hotel/resort. Staff was nice, I could get back my money and they understood my problem and confirmed they also feel the moldy smell in the room.

Very basic accommodation. It’s your own private stand alone spot with a bed and bathroom. The bed is pretty comfy compared to other spots we looked at for similar prices. There’s a comforter on the bed so we didn’t get cold at night. The porch has a chair and hammock. There’s also breakfast included. We had free coffee, toast, banana, avocado and made to order eggs each morning. The pedestrian bridge is now open again so it’s a short, less than 10 min, walk into town. The owner is also very sweet! I’d definitely recommend this spot- good price and you have all the basics covered. However, if you want luxury, I’d look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, nothing like the pictures on Booking. com||Very basic but okay for 300 B per night. Private bathroom but no hot water.||Mattress very hard. No mattress protector. No bath mat. Slippery floor.||Breakfast much more exciting elsewhere.

There is a big temperature difference between day and night, and it was very cold in the middle of the night. I was only given a thin sheet, and it was so cold that I couldn't sleep. I had to check out at 10:00.

Lovely place to stay with lovely staff. We were here one week and couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay here. Everything we needed was provided, including coffee and light breakfast every morning. Would stay here again and would highly recommend if you want a low key, relaxing and private stay. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!!!

A really nice quiet place which is pretty close to the night market. It's also quiet cheap and really worth its price (around 200 baht per person). Highly recommended for people who want to be close to anything but still have their quiet place. Didn't get 5 stars because it does have a bit problem with the hot water at shower...
