We arrived at Snonbepur Homestay by accident after a last minute cancelation from another homestay, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended for 5 nights!Bungalows were big, clean and confortable. Food was good and plentiful. The location is really beautiful and quiet with great snorkeling right at the door.David is kind, smily and a great tour guide! We had amazing snorkeling tours around Batanta, also went looking for dugongs and mantas, fishing, swimming in waterfalls, and more. He is also a talented musician and singer ;)Thank you so much David for taking such a good care of your unexpected guests!! We recommand 100% Snonbepur Homestay and look forward to coming back again.

David and his family are warm, hospitable and take such good care of you!The homestay is clean. We ended up with one of the newer bungalows which has an ensuite bathroom (they are building more like this!).I also liked they had the square mosquito net. The rooms have a fan but the evening breeze is so pleasant you don't need to use it.The food was the best among our other 4 homestays! While we ate fish there was a lot of vegetarian food so I'm sure they can accommodate! David is growing some food his own garden which was another unique factor!David knows the Batanta reefs well - there is no better tour guide! He has a pleasant and happy nature, and puts in a lot of effort to make his tours special. He has keen eye for spotting aquatic and land animals, throughout our snorkelling and mangrove trips. We also really enjoyed our visit to the traditional village4G and diving is available 5 mins walk away. If I could go back, I would stay at snonbepur homestay again!

In this homestay, we had the most beautiful experiences of our second stay in RJ compared to other accommodations. Thanks to David, who takes you to beautiful places and goes to the sea with you, it makes you feel safer. Reliable arrangement for transportation and reasonable price. David tries to show you the most beautiful places, and thanks to his efforts, we saw Manta rays on the last day of departure, which we were not lucky enough to see. As a bonus, his family gave us a farewell concert of traditional music. Really special. The Palm Cockatoo is also a frequent visitor.

David and his family are wonderful and warm individuals who made my time there unforgettable. It's where we had the best food, with a variety of vegetables. The tranquil waters and diverse underwater world (mantas, turtles, dolphins) add to its beauty. Lazy days on the hammock allow you to recharge your batteries.

A stay in Snonbepur was amazing. David with his friends and family made us feel very special and our holiday there was just perfect including good quality homes just on the beach, great food and wonderful boat trips like manta diving. Thx David!

If you look for a remote location and you can live with the basics, this is the place to be. The hosts do there utmost to let you feel at home. The fresh cooked meals are of good quality and taste. You can enter the sea in front of the home stay where a magnificent reef is at your disposal. Only two minuts by boat the manta rays are welcoming you. Wifi available at the top of the island, 5 min walk. No refreshments or beer available.

What a treasure!David and his sweet family will make you feel more than welcome in this little piece of paradise. The reef just beneath you feet is healthy and teeming with life, mantas are 100m away and grazing dugongs are around the northern tip of the tiny island. The only problem is: you really don’t want to leave ☺️

David and Ivon provided the experience of a lifetime! These have been some of the most memorable days of our lives.Overall Snonbepur Homestay provides a laidback, family friendly atmosphere. You might occasionally hear some lovely singing. A happy family of three generations preserving and generously sharing a slice of paradise. We were told by other visitors that this house reef was the best they had seen in all of Raja Ampat. It is like being in an infinite aquarium, so intricate that you can spend an hour snorkelling a relatively small area because there is just so much to see! Mantas visited house reef while we were there and a dugong was also sighted one morning by a fellow snorkellor.David is super relaxed and accomodating - he took us to spots and islands that other locals are unaware of. Pristine, untouched gems! Must do his three spot day trip.. it was our holiday highlight and the best reef we will likely ever see in our lifetime. We got so much more out of each adventure as David would come snorkelling with us when we ventured beyond house reef - we love that he shares the same passion and enthusiasm for nature, animals and the ocean.Nearby David and his father can take you to swim with Mantas and Dugongs. David is also happy to have you accompany him on fishing trips to catch large tuna.We were so impressed by Ivon’s hospitality. Over 6 days she never cooked the same meal twice, always something new and delicious to try. Plenty of fresh fish at lunch and dinner, plated alongside fresh vegetables and fruits grown on their land. Every meal was healthy, fresh and delicious. The cabin is simple, clean and comfortable (ocean breeze cools you at night). We managed to avoid mosquitos for the most part. We cherished laying in the hammock admiring the reef in day or Milky Way at night.

It was the best place in all regions Raja Ampat. It was really a lot of food and very taste. The owner and his family were very nice and helpful. This place was very clean and not rubbish like in the different spots, so what for me is very important.I have took few snorkelling trips like for example manta point to swim with the mantas and was very grate experience.Always one person look after me when I have snorkelling and swim with me, and try show much as possible on the reef.In this place you have reef in front of the bungalow hut with iconic view.
