Little haven of peace! We spent 4 extraordinary nights at Ferdinan's! We were the only tourists on this small island, and what an incredible change of scenery, the true dream of a paradise island 🙏🏝. The whole team takes great care (Alfred and Marina 🫶🏻) and is so attentive to the little details to make you feel good. The excursion to Mutus was a real pleasure, full of authenticity and sharing.Do not hesitate !

Paradise adventure: Unforgettable days with Ferdinand in Raja Ampat. The extra mile is worth it.Our stay with Ferdinand was simply fantastic! Joe Suba stands for hospitality and warmth of heart and that is the program here. The homestay is located a little away from the well-known places in Wasai, which makes it special. Here we were able to go snorkeling in untouched coral gardens in very special places away from the usual tourist crowds, dive with manta rays and ultimately discover Wayag all for ourselves. This experience is simply indescribable.Ferdinand is a great and thoughtful host. He welcomed us at the airport, got tickets for the ferry, organized the transfer to the next homestay and made all other excursions possible and took us to everything that interested us.He speaks English very well. This meant we were able to communicate well and learn a lot about the culture and life

Great homestay, great host and great food”Ferdinand has built 2 new bungalows, both a new toilet and a new bathroom with a water barrel. Everything is super clean and everyone is incredibly warm-hearted. We immediately felt welcomed and were greeted with a coconut as a welcome. The food was the best we had in Raja Ampat. Marina cooks and bakes everything fresh and had a surprise for her afternoon snack every day. Drinks such as water, tea and coffee are always available and can be enjoyed around the clock. Ferdinan is in regular contact with guests and also offers great tours. He even fulfilled the food requests we had. We were even able to take the boat for free to go shopping on the neighboring island. There is a small shop there with cookies, cappuccino, snacks... Any reviews that are worse certainly refer to the old bungalows. We can really recommend Ferdinan and his family 100%. We were really sad when we left.

Great place to stay. Location is fantastic as you have lots of snorkel and dive site options around you, but the house reef is amazing too.The locals are so friendly and happy to help teach you Indonesian and Papuan words too. Food is great, and the rooms are very spacious compared to other homestays. They can arrange trips for you very quickly.

“It’s not me who’s crying, it’s my eyes”(Marcel Pagnol).“Jou Suba” the homestay where you cry when you arrive and also when you leave! What to start with ?Isolated on an island 2 and a half days away from France, arrived on a “Kho Lanta” type island (except that the cabin is already built and we are told where the water is), no networks, electricity evening from 6 p.m. to midnight, no European amenities, we pick our fruits, our coconuts, we catch our fish and we enjoy ourselves! The first day with tears in your eyes, you discover “Wayag”! A real postcard (my dream for 20 years!) and the days pass and then at the end of these two weeks spent here, you tell yourself that you miss nothing from our crazy modern life!Everything is done to ensure that you have a great stay, we stayed 12 days on this island and we regretted not staying there more!An excursion organized every day at our request, meal prepared to take away during the day, Ferdinand, Bernard, Oscar, Raymond, Marina, Novi… and I forget, do everything possible to satisfy you 💚This island is very well located, between 2 and 3 hours of navigation from Wasai (depending on the weather) which takes you away from the tourist hustle and bustle of Wasai and above all refocuses you on the remarkable sites of Raja Ampat. The meals are excellent and new every day, although they are often based on fish and rice, but cooked in very different ways.We weren't bored for a single minute, we found real value in sharing and exchange on this island. They even organized a departure party for us, with traditional music and songs for our last evening, and all the staff were present for our departure. (second time our eyes have cried 🥲)Only one desire, to come back very quickly and see this family who welcomed us as if we were part of their own, having nothing or almost and obviously giving everything 🙏🏻They fed on our wonder and our joy in discovering the “last paradise on earth”Thank you WITH WHOLE HEART to the entire “Jou Suba” team for making us experience these magical and privileged moments 💚💚💚“Don’t change anything, you’re all great and I promise to see you soon 🙏🏻💚”Philippe and Narjes BRONDINB: we had packed a few sweets and a few gifts in our suitcases for the children of the village and also for the adults.

One of best memory in Papuan Indoneaia was this private island. Our guide Ferdinan brought us here from Waisai to stay 2 nights when he was planning to open this guesthouse. Totally isolated island will give you a strange feeling. Time stops here. No sign of rush life. In low tide you can walk along the shore. You can enjoy totally human free time. Ferdinan provide excellent food although accommodation during day could tough. His food comes from nearby Mutus island. You will never forget this experience.
