We were picked up from the ferry port in Waisai and then taken to the bungalow. There was no one there and the people who brought us couldn't speak a word of English and so we were left to our own devices without any information or a warm welcome. We didn't feel welcome at all. We then found the toilet and shower on our own and then went to sleep. When we woke up, the other guests were back from their trip and so was the host Aron. He speaks good English and then provided us with the necessary information. Unfortunately, Aron disappeared again after one evening and didn't appear again for three days. So it was now up to us to at least welcome the new guests and provide them with the necessary information. There are also a lot of hidden costs, so we were never informed that the transfer to and from the ferry port costs 2 million rupees. I find that very cheeky, because there is no other way to get there so why not communicate costs transparently?!We also went on a trip. It was nice, but when we found out from other people at the viewpoint how much they had paid in comparison, we felt totally left out and Aron had the audacity to call his brother and ask me for money for gas for the boat after we had already paid a lot paid a lot for the tour.I have to say that the location is really paradise and the food was always very tasty and fresh. The family who is always there (Aron's brother with his wife and children) are very nice, but unfortunately they can't speak English and don't understand anything about guest care. I don't blame you, but it can't be that the "manager" and the only one who can speak English is never on site and simply processes guests from a distance. If you want to look after guests, you should at least make some effort or leave it alone. It seemed to us as if it was just a good extra income for Arom, but he didn't care at all about his guests.

Great family-run homestay in a secluded lagoon. We really enjoyed it and Aaron and his family took great care of everything. We can highly recommend it.

Very basic, family is nice and food is good There is nothing to do, leaving and coming by boat limited due to tide. So if you are looking for a quite place its perfect. For swimming, snorkling its limited, except you take a boat out.
