2-week stay in bungalows in September 2024.Resort opened in December 2023, run by a Franco-Indonesian couple, he in charge of the technical part (diving, technical installations, etc.), she of the hotel part (room, kitchen etc.). Warm welcome, smiling staff who take care of you. Original approach desired by management: participate in local economic development by employing people from the adjoining village, by only offering local products, etc. Well-functioning organization, impeccable facilities, nothing to complain about. As for the diving sites, it's very solid for those who like macro or even super macro.This small resort (only 16 places!) will quickly become famous... Hurry and book because there won't be something for everyone.Thanks to Mathieu and Sri for this unforgettable stay. Thanks to Beni who worked tirelessly to share his passion with us.We refill the piggy bank and come back because in 15 days we haven't seen everything...

Superb stay in Ambon.A new Resort to discover. The dive guides are professional and attentive, anticipating our requests. We have 1 guide for 2, on dives limited by our consumption, with air or nitrox.Our photo equipment can remain in the room provided, with all the necessary sockets.The kitchen staff, under the advice of Sri, cook up varied and delicious meals for us.The rooms are well appointed, clean, surrounded by greenery.Thanks to Mathieu and Sri, for their welcome.To Beni, our captain, to Iwan and Onong, our guides and all the little hands

We stayed at Ambon Dive Resort from March 12 to April 1, 2024.We had a warm welcome from Sri, Mathieu and their team.The hotel is brand new, well appointed with spacious rooms, all in a green setting. Meals are convivial around a large table. Sri takes pleasure in introducing us to new flavors from the Moluccas and Indonesia every day.The diving area is practical with a large room for cameras.The dives are varied with muck, and fortunately the eagle eye of the guides prevents us from missing the very small, little creatures.But also dives on the coral drop-offs where we find a lot of life and color.We will keep excellent memories of this stay, hoping to return one day.

We had a wonderful stay. The resort is brand new and very pleasant. The dives are magical both for muck dives and on the outer walls. Thanks to Mathieu and Sri for their welcome.The only downside is the waste on the water and on the beach depending on the wind, despite all the efforts of the staff to remove it... but it's Indonesia.

We just spend as a family there a great week. They are kids friendly. Delicious sustainable food from the garden. The staff is friendly. Amazing muck diving experience. 4 of us did a dive experience. The beach is right in front. You can request experience like spear fishing.The one star is missing because they have a small trash problem. The beach has a lot of plastic trash depending on the tide.

Incredible hotel in a natural environment surrounded by gigantic trees, fusion cuisine with dishes as good as each other, incredible dives right in front of the hotel, always smiling staff, we really enjoyed ourselves.

We have just spent an unforgettable week at Ambon Dive Resort!The hotel has just been built. It is located 15-20 minutes from the airport, which is very convenient. The resort sends a taxi and a boat, it's really easy.The place is truly magnificent with very large trees. There is a beach where it is possible to snorkel directly.On our arrival and on the day of our departure we were lucky enough to see groups of dolphins passing right in front!We booked a bungalow with a pretty terrace surrounded by vegetation. The bed was gigantic and extremely comfortable.The food was delicious, prepared with fresh and tasty ingredients every day.Fans of muck diving, we also enjoyed the dives where we were able to film all kinds of colorful creatures with improbable shapes... It's fascinating what you can find down there!In short, I highly recommend this hotel to divers who want to discover new horizons.
