A great place, simple but cozy and with very nice people. Highly recommended. I booked a room here, but due to technical problems with the air conditioning I could not sleep here. Reesa arranged another (beautiful and nice hotel) for me. And in the days that followed I had a nice meal here at The Nutmeg Tree a few times. Reesa speaks perfect English. He has many stories and you can go snorkeling/diving in the most beautiful places. Oh yes, the girls from the kitchen are great and they can cook very well!!!

Reza at Nutmeg was extremely helpful during my recent visit to Banda. I would highly recommend Nutmeg for all your diving and snorkelling needs. Cheap rental, good quality equipment, and great service.

Nestled on a secluded stretch of coastline, TNT Hotel proved to be an unexpected gem during my recent stay at Banda Neira. As I was here for work, the hotel effortlessly transformed my trip into a rejuvenating working holiday.The room itself was a sanctuary with its views of both the serene beach and majestic mountains. My favorite ritual quickly became reading a book in the morning air, accompanied by a steaming cup of tea and freshly baked homemade bread. The room was comfortably furnished, providing a cozy retreat after long days of work.The owner and staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of everybody stay was pleasant. They served delicious homemade meals that reflected the island's flavors, making dining a highlight of each day.

We stayed on a sailboat and scuba dove with The Nutmeg Tree and had amazing time! Reza was a fantastic host and extremely generous. He is fluent in English and very responsive on WhatsApp. The diving was great and everything was on time and easy to coordinate. Rezas team made our stay in Banda extra special. The property is also very beautiful and I will definitely be coming back for a visit!

I can't recommend this place highly enough. The location is perfect, right on the waterfront and a 3-minute walk from the harbour. Reza, the owner, is both incredibly friendly, and has amazing knowledge about the area and it's history. His home-made bread is also the perfect way to start a day of hiking, diving, snorkling or lazing around. The meals served at the hotel are very simple home-style fare, always tasty and with lots of very fresh fish.
