Wow. This place was just INCREDIBLE!We stayed in Raja Ampat for 3 weeks, and this was our first homestay. It was the best one and our favourite.I was shocked when we arrived - the homestay and the area is naturally stunning. Such a beautiful place. This was the homestay with the clearest water and the best visibility for snorkeling! The house reef is amazing. Such vibrant and alive corals! An ABUNDANCE of marine life here (turtles, sharks, octopus, dolphins, cuttle fish). Sooooo many fish. The fish here are extremely vibrant and colorful too.You get 3 delicious meals a day. Their restaurant has WIFI!! Cozy yellow lighting everywhere. Extremely clean bathrooms! Western style toilet and shower heads. I saw them cleaning the bathrooms at least twice a day.More awesome things we weren't expecting: You get a 4pm snack - these AMAZING banana fritters. There is a massage lady who is part of the staff, so you can get a very affordable and phenomenal massage in your bungalow. She brings you fresh coconuts after the massage to rehydrate. This homestay also offers the cheapest tour price to Wayag and other locations. The owner gave us a great deal on a trip to Piaynemo! The staff were SO friendly and the owner, Mario (a local who has lived here since childhood) is amazing. He is the nicest guy, super caring, and goes above and beyond to make sure his homestay is as comfortable as he can make it for his guests. The place is extremely clean and beautiful. The staff cleaned our room and made our bed every day (something our other 2 homestays never did).100% recommended

I had a great stay in Terimakasih Homestay. It has a gorgeous view from the room. The drop-off in front of the homestay is good for snorkeling. Can see sharks in the blue water side, schools of fish in the jetty... Mario is really helpfull during my stay here. Even when I left, he helped me to check the sharing boat to Wasai. I would love to come back next time :)

Paradise.. It’s like moana the Disney movie but in real life. Watching the sunrise & sunset in front of your bungalow chilling on your hammock is what dreams are made of. Two steps into the water & it’s a snorkelling heaven. I am not sure why other travellers have left comments about the small portions of food. Breakfast, lunch & dinner.. All freshly cooked. In the afternoon they bring banana fritters which we were obsessed with. My husband even went into the kitchen to get the recipe. The staff are so chilled, friendly & helpful. The only two negative comments we can make was having to leave & choosing to stay at another homestay for 3 nights afterwards, it just wasn’t the same. Thank you Mario & team for the most wonderful 6 days. We will never forget your exceptional homestay. Kirstie & Scott x

Fantastic location, lovely room (shared spotlessly clean bathrooms) and even a cold beer. Food could be better and more generous. Brilliant value for money.

We stayed at Terimakasih for one week at the beginning of our three weeks Raja Ampat journey. For us, Terimakasih was the best out of 4 homestays and resorts we stayed in.Mario and Paul were super nice and helpful with the organization of tours. Even after we left they helped us with some transfers and tours. The housereef is the most beautiful we had, with sharks, turtles and once we even saw a dugong. The sunset view is amazing. We will definitively come back to Termikasih if we come to Raja Ampat again :)Only idea for improvement would be another toilet/ shower closer to the new rooms. If you have to go at night and urgent its quite a walk 🙈

Welcoming homestay with attention for details in the decorations and interior.Mario was always present to arrange boats, tours or to give the best tips on snorkeling spots. The house reef right upfront is magnificent, we swam with sharks and turtles almost everyday. If you are a big eater or love your snacks or other drinks get them at the supermarket before you arrive to Raja Ampat, they provide a plastic box where you can store all your goodies.

very beautiful place, great reef and nice accomodation.organization and equipment is quite poor, rentable goggles and fins were few and garbage. food is so-so, especially the portions weren‘t very big but i guess that’s okay.booked for a second time too, had it confirmed a day earlier only for Poo, the manager, cancelling on us the day we wanted to come.. after that he didn’t respond anymore which was very upsetting.wifi didn’t work for two days, third day they turned on the wifi router, then it worked..rest of the staff was super nice and friendly.
