Went to the famous saturday Pai Jungle Party, we arrived at 12:30 AM, the music was pretty bad until like 2 AM when the DJ finally changed, he played for 20 minutes until he suddenly left the stage because the Police arrived and stopped the party, guests where forced to leave and there was no apology whatsoever from the organizers even though everyone payed full price for the entrance.

Laid back guest house near Wat No Peng's Waterfall with very affordable huts serving a small and slightly overpriced or as far as I heart undersized breakfast choice... You certainly get more if you kindly ask.Jungle Zone might not be that famous for their culinary art but Hell! they know how to run a party. Last event was held mid January 2019 with excellent DJ music and a great Light&Sound show. A nice selection of local Lahou food is then served along the adjacent road. Not many do such events in PAI and it has been year after year an awaited and success full high season gathering.I guess there are more to come this year. The guesthouse is situated in the middle of WatMoPeng Village, 500m prior to the famous (infamous*) Lahou village and a couple of hundreds more from its Waterfall.*Infamous for some..Famous for others...what I mean is the village has build up a reputation for offering highly reprehensible products sold along the last mile of that road.So beware of Police checkpoints when leaving the place during the day or during parties nights.Ps: Not only Jungle parties visitors have to cope with those risks but also Circus School parties have been attended by impromptu Police checkpoints...... Generally between the end of the village and the following Lisou village (prior the Chinese village) somewhere hidden around a corner on the road.
