Super good service in an all-round feel-good package. Really delicious food, even tailored to our wishes, and always fresh fruit. Our small bungalow with a terrace was simple and cozy with a bed, table, chairs, a terrace with chairs and a table and a view of the beautiful garden with lots of flowers and butterflies and macaques romping through the trees.Our 3 day/2 night jungle tour was excellently organized and our guide Salat was above average at spotting animals. We are so happy that we were even able to see the large male orangutan up close (at a distance of 3m) in a relaxed manner and we were also lucky enough to see a whole orangutan family (7). We had several encounters with these wonderful creatures every day. But the butterflies at the hot spring were also beautiful and impressive. An unforgettable experience and what's more, Ketambe is the only place in the world where you can see free-living, unfed orangutans. Our guide Salat and his family are helping to ensure that free-living orangutans will hopefully continue to roam the rainforest for a long time to come.The town of Ketambe is quiet and cozy and the residents are super friendly.If we could give more stars it would be at least one more. Thanks to Salat, his mom and his whole family!

Very nice experience at Pak Mus Guest House. We had a lovely little accommodation in the trees. The place is on the edge of the forest and we could see macaques and Orangutans from our room. The teams are very welcoming! The hosts and guides are charming. A big thank you for the excellent dishes offered! The accommodation is simple but very functional. I recommend 110%

Very warm welcome, very friendly and smiling. The food is excellent. Salat and his family took good care of me during my stay. They found me a guide to go on a (fantastic) jungle hike at a very good price. They also gave me directions to the bus at Lake Toba. I recommend! Thank you for everything my friend!

I stay by Salat und his Family. And it was a really incredible time.We been with him and Amat for tow days in the Dschungel, saw the wildlife orang utans and other animals and relaxed on the hot springs. The cuisine and the service in my staying time was lovely and salat is a really helpful guy for organized some stuff for the traveling.Thank you for this time and I will never forget the moment with the Kupukupu…..! ✨🦋🌙

We are very satisfied of our stay in Pak Mus Guesthouse. Ketambe is a very quiet place almost in the jungle. Salat and his family are lovely people. They make delicious food and are always happy to talk. We did a 3 days/2nights trek with Salat, Saleman and Amat and really really enjoyed it. It was an enriching experience, completely out of our comfort zone. Salat knows many things about jungle and you can see how he is passioned. Also, he has been very helpful to organise our next step in Berastagi (thank you again 🙏🏻) We recommend 100%

We stayed in Pak Mus for 3 nights, including 2 days and 1 night in the jungle. We saw a lot of wildlife and the tour was well taken care of! We would definitely recommend this. We had some confusion about the price in the beginning, but otherwise we were very satisfied.

Nothing bad to say. Hotspot was good til it finished but there really isnt enough tourist in the area for wifi. Mom is a good cook. Mahdan did an excellent job as guide. First day, my only day, you are pretty much guaranteed to see orangutans. Good exercise before n after. Ticket was promised but never received. Another tour guide owner Jack gave me a used one. Tourist should ask for the ticket in indonesia always. If you dont chances are the enterance fee gets pocketed by the agent and not going to the park. 🫤
