Wiwi and her team are amazing! Wiwi is super responsive on WhatsApp and will make sure you have a great time on the island. Dinners every night were delicious.

I had the best stay at Pondok Oma and I’d recommend it to anybody! This is the best option if you try to find a good place in simeulue on a budget. Good food, super nice staff! Thank you, wiwi!

Me and my husband stayed for 2 weeks at Pondok Oma. Wiwi, the lady who runs it, was helpful and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. They accommodated my vegetarian and gluten free dietary requirements so well, and the food was very good! The staff were great, the location was handy, and the price was pretty good compared to what's available on the island.It was one of the cheaper places we could find, so don't expect much! It was pretty basic and a little run down for Australian standards, but it was comfortable enough. The aircon in the double bed room worked well, the bed was firm but OK, the toilet is a pour a bucket of water type, the water out of the tap stank, and the mosquito net over the bed was a lifesaver. The scooters for hire were a motley crew, a little unreliable, but it added to the adventure :)We would stay at Pondok Oma Surf Camp again. We loved our time on the beautiful island...surfing, swimming, chasing a waterfall, walks on the beach out the front, lots of fresh coconuts and beautiful friendly people.
