What can I say... A little piece of paradise on earth? A timeless place? Much more, I believe. We went there as a family and had a superb stay. Natacha, Julien and their team took great care of us. Succulent, varied and well-served meals at all hours of the day.3 surf spots at the foot of the bungalows including 2 left and one right. We have different surfing levels but everyone was able to surf. On days with fewer waves, we visited a beautiful little island.In the lagoon, around the bungalows we were able to observe dozens of turtles, rays and fish.

Not 5 stars like the Hilton hotel but 5 stars for the experience. Access to world class waves (intermediate to pro level surfers only) breaking over sharp coral , unique accommodation over the water with basic comfy beds under mosquito screens. Super helpful local staff and more food than you can eat. Limited Wi-Fi but enough to send daily messages. Small boat delivery to the 3 breaks in the bay and some boat trips to other nearby breaks. Surfers heaven.Down sides : currently having motor issues on the boats and no small boat tender taken on away trips (making very difficult to rescue an injured surfer). Long paddle over deep water to get back to boat after a few hours surfing is faaaarrrrked.Two Bintang a day included but any extra are $5 Australian each which is more expensive than in Australia.Sometimes up to 4 boats with 10 surfers each at same break but usually groups take in turns.

I visited back in 2019 and didn't leave a correct review. For the capacity of the resort, everything was managed as best as it possibly could be. And was an unforgettable experience surfing world class waves with no crowds. I would certainly recommend this to anyone.

Best place in the bay from far !! the place is stunning, Natacha, julien and their staff are great host, they take care of their guest and are always here to help!!! And of course plenty of waves in the bay. Great alternative to boat trip!

What is paradise? Go to Banyak Surf Resort and you will see.... A welcome like at home, simple but sincere and friendly. A resort nestled in the heart of the lagoon surrounded by incredible surf spots, hosts at your disposal who can advise you on superb surf sessions!

I stayed here with 2 mates in April. Definitely the best accommodation in the bay. Rooms were comfortable, food was great. Owners julien and Natasha, as well as all the staff, were really nice and helpful. Well worth the effort of getting there.

When we decided to go to Indonesia we never imagined it would be so great! The place is absolutely amazing! Long trip to get there but absolutely worth it. Lovely bungalows, very comfortable and cozy. All the members of the staff were always willing to help and made us feel like at home all the time :) The owners are the nicest people, we had so much fun! The waves are amazing to surf and the speedboat driver was always ready to give us a ride. The food was great! Big plates, very diverse menu mixing western and local food. Fresh food, homemade bread, great salads and juices :) We will come back for sure! Thank you Banyak Surf Resort for all the good vibes! We will definitely come back! 100% recommended
