Last week me and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights with Borja and Yayun on Pulau Weh. The communication with Borja in advance was fantastic and he arranged everything for us from start to finish. The room is very clean and the view from our bungalow was phenomenal. He was able to give us a lot of tips about the island and we could rent scooters and snorkels at the stay. Borja also arranged a great snorkeling trip for us. It is very centrally located, so you can quickly get anywhere on the island. The staff was very friendly and we had a great time with Borja and Yuyun. Very happy that we chose Seagate and we will definitely recommend this place to others!

Amazing place to stay on Pulau Weh. The Bungalows are very well equipped and clean and the view is fantastic.You can go snorkeling just in front of the bungalows and see lots of nice underwater wildlife.They also have a restaurant which pretty good as well.The owners are very kind and they gave us lots of good information/recommendations on things to do and where to.

Where do I start so I don't write a book full of praise?The absolute best place with the greatest people that I was able to call home for 16 days! Where do you even start?Room a dream! With the best reef on the island at your feet!You will be taken care of and every wish will be fulfilled, as well as help!The staff became friends and are the best team I have ever experienced! You can feel the love for this place!The best food I was able to eat and will certainly still dream about Gado-Gado and Soto at night!I will definitely return to this paradise place! Just for the gado-gado and the warmth of the heart!

We just returned from a month of traveling through Sumatra, Malaysia and Borneo. Nowhere have we been received as warmly and cordially as here. Borja and Yuyun are super hospitableand helpful. We haven't had anything better anywhere.We had a room with air conditioning. The only thing we missed was some space to store our stuff. It was also because we were 3 people. Furthermore, it is a wonderful spot where you can step into the water for snorkeling. Side step: Forget the Perhentians, you have to go to Pulau Weh for snorkeling. Coral is still intact here and you really feel like you are "alone" in the sea.Back to Sea Gate…. We enjoyed 4 nights here. It is a bit remote, so you are dependent on a Becak (kind of tuktuk) or you have to rent a scooter if you want to get anywhere.As far as we are concerned, it is highly recommended!!

We had a really nice stay at Sea Gate Bungalow!! Borja and Yuyun are really kind and make you feel at home. The room is great and the set up is really beautiful!! Amazing snorkel a few meters from your room and amazing recomendations from the hosts on what to do in the island!! Looking forward to staying here again!!! Highly recommended!!

Bungalow and Location: The place is made with love and care. The bungalow we stayed in was spotlessly clean, the view was amazing, and sunset time on the hammock in balcony was beautiful. Colorful corals and abundant marine life were just a few meters swim away from the bungalow.Host: Yuyun and her husband were ideal hosts. They provided plenty of recommendations, were very responsive to our questions, and helped us arrange transportation to the airport after check-out.Their team members, Tasha, Kali and others were also great in taking care of the guests.Food: The dinner and breakfast were delicious. I saw Yuyun cooking with pure dedication. We had chicken curry and rice, spring rolls, and Nusantara Salad. For breakfast, besides homemade bread toast and eggs, we were lucky to try Yuyun’s cold brew wine coffee, which was excellent. The fisherman coffee, a black coffee made with traditionally roasted beans and brewed in the traditional way, was also great.

Quite & peacefull place to stay.The room was spacious, clean and tidy with a balcony directly facing to the ocean.The view was totally amazing.The owner Bang Borja & Kak Yuyun are super friendly ❤️Hope can get back there soon
