We stayed 3 nights as a family. We all had an amazing time, from the managers being gracious enough to extend our stay when bad weather stopped us from arriving on time, to the fabulous chef who cooked us yummy food for breakfast lunch & dinner. The huts are right on the water, you can hear the water lapping all through the night. Amazing snorkelling in crystal clear water including string rays, jumping fish (a school of fish jumped right into my kids while swimming) lots of nemo’s to spot. A movie and pizza night was even arranged!! Lots of bird life, micro bats, crabs and cool plants. Just an amazing experience. The kids had a ball snorkelling , playing volleyball and playing with the hermit crabs. It’s one of the best experiences we have had. Highly recommend!! Thanks to Dickie & the team.

Positive points:- Beautiful island, coral drop-offs with a thousand different fish accessible by snorkeling- Possibility of kayaking to other mini desert islandsNegatives:- Everything else. The "resort" is way too expensive for what it is. Structures to maintain, to renew for a more charming appearance.- Very very basic breakfast and meals. No pizza oven and movie night as written on their site.- Dive center closed for the low season, information learned once there, so no diving. Activities on boat are carried out by a minimum of 4 people. So if you are the only ones, no sunset/sunrise exit.- Overpriced speedboat to access the island. Cheaper slowboat to leave the island but clashes with the corals, propellers and engine breaking, in the end we missed our Ferry and almost ended up stranded in the open sea. Conclusion: transport is more expensive than the stay itself, on site, everything is paid and expensive, or unavailable.Fortunately, the nature there was beautiful, which slightly made up for this stay which was not really worth it given the money spent. Too bad, because there is potential.

What an amazing experience. The whole getting there, to staying there. Like a little island paradise. Friends made and memories of a beautiful unspoiled nature, rarely seen nowadays. Dickie, the manager a true professional as were the rest of the team with delicious food, excellent diving instructor too. Don’t really want to promote it to too many people but deserves a good review. Thankyou Tailana island. See you again one day. Ed and Carlo. UK/Italy

Tailana is a paradise, the reception staff are extremely kind and helpful, it is a place where you can find something that is now difficult in other hotels: the feeling of being on a deserted and uncontaminated island. The wooden houses on the beach, the dining area where you can chat with the other guests (limited in number and therefore never crowded), the beautiful coral reef that you find as soon as you enter the water, everything is truly fantastic. If you are looking for a super luxury 5 star resort this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for an authentic place that inspires adventure you will be bound to fall in love with Tailana!!

Wonderful place, staff and food. The reef and nature is amazing. Just the rooms are a quite small and common area can be improved.

Beautiful island, very kind staff, excellent snorkeling and diving. The dive master was very kind and very good. Great peace and serenity. Cleanliness above average for other islands.

It's an amazing place! We only spent two nights because they had no more availability but without a doubt I would have stayed here every day we spent in the Banyak Islands, it is the most special. You can snorkel right on the beach, the staff is lovely, the food delicious, white sand beach and crystal clear waters. I recommend it 100%!

I was a guest of this facility with my 15 year old daughter.I stayed a couple of nights having booked 5.The structure is in really poor condition, common area with only one bench... so you arrive for dinner or lunch and if there are central seats left you have to climb onto the bench to reach your seat. There is an area "dedicated" to glasses... well... one morning I carelessly broke one and while cleaning the tray out of politeness the napkin turned brown. Really bad cleaning, and taking a look at the two Czechs the bill comes back great.Calling this place a resort is a huge insult to any hotel. Run by two Czechs and a young local phony who knows how to do everything except deal with people -As soon as I arrived I had booked for 5 nights. after the first, that is, 12 hours after my arrival, I expressed my desire to leave, with extreme care my bill was practically doubled, a beer which I then paid 50,000 rupees at the 5-star Kimo Resort, which cost them exactly double .. 100,000 rupees.. The food... fried rice fried noodles, fried rice fried noodles--- always the same in a place where the fish gets on the boat by itself. For two nights I spent €300... €800 for 11 nights with fish of your choice and top service in a resort that is worthy of the name. They have a good snorkeling spot but believe me, with 99 islands nearby you can go anywhere.I met a French and a Dutch family, the ones I had the most relationships with, both complained about the food always being the same and cooked by washing the dishes on the floor... Resort Style?A place that is little more than a campsite managed in an impolite manner by someone who, having traveled around a bit, feels like a hotelier who will never be.Younger brother to forget... Truly a very low level of service.Be careful because the reviews I read are absolutely false in my opinion-- it is not possible to classify this place as a resort..I'm resort when I'm gone...PLACE TO AVOID RUN BY TWO MONEY OF DUBIOUS ORIGIN

Tailana is nothing but a paradise. The people who work here are all extremely nice, helpful and courteous. The food was absolutely brilliant every evening and there was more than enough of it. The reef for snorkeling is a dream.
