Anastasia and Peso's Homestay was recently opened and everything is impeccable, large room, bathroom with hot water, generous and tasty breakfast, possibility of renting a scooter,… everything you need to visit this part of the island. Peso is also the best guide we could have had during our stay of several months in South East Asia! He knows the history of his region very well, he took us to ceremonies where we were the only tourists, he is funny and he speaks English very well. Anastasia is a house fairy always with a smile! She also offers massages on request.I recommend without hesitation.

Excellent stay at Sangga Homestay! We fell in love with Anastasia’s kindness and the breakfasts. Ideally located on a quiet street, but close to cafes and restaurants. Anastasia offered me transportation to town several times and helped me organize my bus to Tentena. The room was very clean and there was hot water. Wifi which worked very well. The day I left, I was very ill and Anastasia did everything to help me, she even went to buy me fever pads and vitamin drinks. I recommend without hesitation!

Thanks to Peso and Anastasia for their welcome, their kindness, their advice, and their availability! The rooms are beautiful and clean, the shower water is hot, we had a small balcony with a very nice view. We stayed with them for 4 days, with our 2 children, and it was perfect! One evening, they drove with us to the market and we were able to cook “homemade” meals in their kitchen. And on the day of departure, Anastasia offered us breakfast at 5am!A stay that made our stay in Toraja country even more pleasant!

Very nice place and friendly stuff.
But the tradition from Toraja is just awful. Not recommended to visit because we have now 20th century and tourists should not pay for slaughter animals.

We had a wonderful stay here. Peso was our guide for two days during a large funeral ceremony. He knows a lot about the customs and traditions. He arranged another guide for us to visit the area, who was also very knowledgeable. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious, with lots of fresh fruit. We would have liked to stay longer! Tip: If you are flexible in your schedule, contact Peso in advance and ask when there is a ceremony, because you don't want to miss it!

At Peso and Anastasia you feel at home. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The shower is hot, there is WiFi. Anastasia is a very good cook and the meals are very good. She also does excellent massages. Both are a great help in discovering the region and understanding Toraja culture.

We appreciated everything, the welcome (we were able to order a delicious dinner the evening of our arrival), the kindness and the sense of service of our hosts Anastasia and Peso. You will feel at home, the place is warm, the rooms very pleasant (we had one with a balcony and mountain view), clean and at a reasonable price. Everything is there: information for excursions and guides, scooter and laundry, unlimited hot drinks and cupcakes. Peso takes you to the bus station to buy your tickets and then for your departure with your suitcases. Really, go there with your eyes closed!

Very good Homestay, run by a lovely and very helpful family.Very good value for money, simple comfort, very good breakfasts and meals!We stayed 3 nights in a large family room.I recommend without hesitation (just missing 1 small sink...)

We spent 4 nights in this family hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathroom is new and has hot water. Beds are so comfortable. The breakfast is delicious ! The hosts are extremely attentive and helped us on several occasions: transportation, laundry... the place is well located and we have many options for restaurants, bars, warung within walking distance. It is a good base for visiting the Toraja country.
