Its a great place for anybody who loves nature. There are all kinds of birds, geckos, hermit crabs and fish around the stay. The staff is great. I loved the food. Dont have anything to complain about. The owner has a good birding guide who found nightjars, papuan bobooks and marbled frogmouths for me (and much else). There are papuan frogmouths in the garden.

The stay was great. The accommodation was very well equipped and very welcoming. Timon and Helga are charming and always willing to help. The location is ideal.Our trip was for birdwatching, specially Birds Of Paradise, and it was a success.Highly recommended! Thanks a lot Timon and Helga

I give it one star because I can't give it less... there were different bugs in the bed, the mosquito nets had holes, the noises of the animals at night were chilling, the sea in front of the place was full of algae that did not allow bathing and in case What's more, we waited 3 hours after the time they established for dinner and when we asked when they would serve, the owner responded rudely saying that clocks did not exist there and that times stopped. IT WAS THE WORST NIGHT I HAVE EVER HAD after visiting 40 countries even more remote places than that. OF COURSE WE LEFT THE NEXT DAY!!

We stayed four nights in this beautiful place. Timon and his family are very welcoming, the food is excellent and if you want they can organize excursions of all kinds by sea or on foot.

Not exactly what I expected. ||||The surroundings are pristine, but unfortunately the owner's attitude is just not acceptable. I agree with some of the reviews that he is rude and difficult to talk to, and often downright hostile.
