Friendly and hospitable. We were able to check in immediately at 6 am. Breakfast delicious. Toast and fresh fruit/juice . Rented a guide for 1 day through Enos. 600k . Scooter rental possible. They give many tips about the area. You can drink tea and coffee and tap water for free. Highly recommended! Top. Central location, a little further away from the main road. No noise at night.

Rosalina and Enos (couple who run the accommodation) are wonderful, attentive and helpful and speak good English.For breakfast they make delicious pancakes and you can talk to them so that they are ready early in the morning, if you need it. They rent motorcycles and have contact with guides to be able to attend funerals.The views from the accommodation, specifically from the terrace where you have breakfast, are very beautiful, over some rice fields.If you travel by night bus you can ask the owners to talk to the company to drop you off and pick you up at the accommodation.On the day of our departure, Enos went to the bus station to let Rosalina know when the bus was leaving, allowing us to rest in the homestay hall until the last moment, although we had already checked out that morning.On the last day Enos organized a tour for us taking us to a beautiful waterfall, and to the top of the mountain, in addition to discovering a nice restaurant.The location is very good, a 15-minute walk (although the path is somewhat complicated, because in some sections the sidewalk is almost non-existent) from the center of Rantepao.Hot water shower. Spacious room.That said, a gem.

After a hot and humid day of touring Toraja, it was a pleasure to return to Rosalina homestay.||Overlooking the luscious green padi fields it was a reprieve from the hectic day.|Not wanting to go out to dinner, Rosalina kindly made dinner during my stay in Toraja.||Thank you Rosalina for delicious meals and kind hospitality.|

Lovely Homestay with wonderful hosts! Clean and comfortable rooms.The banana pancakes, as many have mentioned, were amazing. We spent a day doing a tour of the area with Amos the owner’s friend. He was a great guide and we really enjoyed our day with him. We aren’t usually the type of travellers to do guided day tours, but I strongly recommend one in Tana Toraja you would be doing yourself a disservice not to! There is so much interesting cultural information associated with the tourist spots and you would not know half of it if you went alone. Thank you for a lovely stay in Rantepao!
