Magnificent location with beautiful view of the valley up in Moni. Only 15 minutes away from the parking lot for Kelimutu trekking. The best thing about this resort is the view from either your room of the cafeteria. Of course, the cool mountain air helps to elevate the viewing experience as well. The few cottages are built on a landscaped valley to maximize viewing from each one of them. The design of the cottage is adopting local architecture which gives guests experience living as local Kelimutuans. But the fact that the windows are not properly sealed to mimic the actual mountain hut means that the cold mountain wind at night blows right into the room all night long. If you’re not a fan of camping activities, this can be quite tough. Hot water is also not working properly but I appreciate the attempt to provide it for guests. Stairs to the cottages can be difficult for elderly guests because the incline is very steep.Overall I enjoy staying at the resort but I will bring warmer clothes on my next stay.

Very close to the entrance of Kelimutu site. No need to wake up too early to go to the three lakes. Nice and good food. The service a bit long. A good place to stay in Moni in order you don't want to go out at night. Far from the city.

The rooms don’t have doors! Just small gates and a curtain. No way to lock your room, would not have felt safe sleeping here or leaving valuables here. No sound privacy. The bathroom sink is between the curtain and gate so no visual privacy there either. They did at least give us a full refund.

The closest accommodation if you are going to Lake Kelimutu. Only 30 minutes to Kelimutu Lake. The place is comfortable, cool, with beautiful views of the hills. Good service. Our suitcases were carried all the way down even though we had to climb lots of stairs. Breakfast doesn't have many choices but it's okay. When we asked for more fried eggs, they were happy to prepare them. Cheap 2 eggs only 20k.The rooms are downstairs... with a concept like glamping but in a shape like a joglo with a palm fiber or palm roof, I don't know. The front bedroom door is solid glass but the back door only uses cloth with a pattern to connect left and right. It's fun...The bed uses a mosquito net. There were three of us at that time with an extra mattress. But apparently if you sleep downstairs it will be very cold because there is no door. In the end, the three of us slept on a bed with a mosquito net...it was even more exciting.
