I really recommend diving with Yenkoranu, rather than Soul Scuba , since we experienced both🙏🏻The gear is good, the Divemasters (Chris and his co-workers) are professionals, the price is fair, the boat is good, and above all they care about their clients and what their expectations, without omitting safety. Go for it, you will have the nicest dive experience ever(we did approx 80 dives in Indonesia and it was the best experience). As a bonus you give well deserved money to locals (the big soul scuba club is owned and run by foreigners and we had bad experiences with them repeatedly until we discovered Yenkoranu). 🤿

Clearly better than Soul Scuba dive!We search for another dive center after a horrible experience at Soul Scuba dive and we found this place owned by locals.Equipment and divemasters were very nice and had great dives. They listen their client and pleased them.On top of that they are coral friendly and very cautious about taking care of the diving sites.

We dove with Yenkoranu Dive Homestay, a local dive center with no website and little information available online. At first we were a little hesitant, however, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their service and their equipment, which is in excellent condition. Their guides are extremely competent, perfectly mastering the management of diving times, and know all the essential sites of Raja Ampat. They listen and take you where you want, taking into account the conditions of course. These were our best dives in Raja Ampat, after testing two different clubs. What really sets Yenkoranu apart is the warm welcome they give to their divers. You feel treated like a family member or friend, while remaining in a very professional and secure environment. Their positive and sincere spirit makes the experience even more pleasant, because we feel that they are having fun in what they do, which adds a very appreciable human dimension. If you are planning to dive in Kri, go for it without hesitation: dive with them!!!

We didn't stay there but we met them through diving and what a shame we didn't book with them! The rooms are nothing out of this world, but the common areas they have, the pier, the beach in front, the family that runs it... without a doubt this makes the difference in your experience!

Asked for a dive trip, they said they probably won't go out because of the weather the next days and also do not have other divers necessary for a trip. A day later the weather looked better and we searched for other travelers that might be interested in the dive trip. Found some, were 6 people and tried to arrange the trip. They read our messages but didn't respond again and again. Later we found out they would go out but were fully booked with other people by then. Very unreliable! Don't go to Kri, book a live-a-board!

The staff was very friendly and the meal was excellent. The diving facilities were clean and it was great for tanning and snorkeling at the end of the jetty.

A really fantastic dive shop. Ideal for experienced divers. They give you total freedom but also find fun stuff. Perfect! The whole team are lovely, sweet and helpful. Bram is the best divemaster I met in Raja.. soo many magical tiny things 💙🐛, all the divemaster trainees are fun and enthusiastic, Nando is going be an amazing DM. Kris is skill captain, every time we dropped in in the perfect spot. Eles, the owner, is kind, welcoming, just lovely.. he even lent me his own camera 🙏. The gear is pretty good. They have a very experienced instructor too for newer divers. Really recommend diving with them. I hope to be back☺️I prefer to stay in one of the quieter home stays further up the beach because I really love peace and quiet, wooden bungalow etc. If you are someone who wants Aircon and stone walls and you don't mind the sound of the generator then the rooms could be something you like. Certainly the staff are very welcoming and kind, especially the owner Monik, and the food is good

Had such a great time staying at Yenkoranu. Stayed 4 nights but wish I stayed a month. Very comfortable beds with AC, super knowledgeable and friendly dive guides and epic snorkeling/diving right out in front.

The most amazing thing about this homestay is the friendly service and caretakers and the feeling of family. They really are the best kind of people here. The other amazing thing is the reef right in front of the home stay is world class and better than any I’ve ever seen before. The rooms could use some renovation but it’s not that bad and I still really enjoyed our stay. I will definitely be coming back. Just remember to bring your own snacks and beer and soap and other things as amenities are limited here. Think of it like a camping experience. They provide foundation things and you bring the rest. For the price this place is well worth it. You can spend double or triple at a nicer homestay but really youll just be getting a few extra amenities so whether it’s worth the additional cost or not is up to you. But overall I absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it to divers coming to raja ampat looking for a chill and friendly place to call their home away from home for a few days.
