Amazing experience. We booked 2 rooms for one night only, and were sorry we could not stay longer. The homestay is next to the Transflores road. Phillipo (the owner) is very nice. He welcomed us, cooked for us delicious dinner. He even helped us get a taxi for next morning and gave us tips on visiting our destinations on Flores, as he used to work in tourism. We shared dinner together and exchanged stories. And next morning amazing sunrise with great breakfast. Simple and clean homestay, close to Ruteng. Thank you, Phillipo!

One of the most beautiful stays! The room was clean and had everything you need. The best thing was the hospitality and the conversations about the country and its people, as Philip speaks English so well. The view from the room of the mountains and the sunrises directly in front of us was also special. The food was also very tasty and lovingly prepared. We wish only the best for Philip and his family 😊

We stayed only one night and the truth is that we would have stayed longer if it weren't for the lack of vacation days. The owners of the hostel were very friendly, the incredible views of the town of Ruteng, and the impressive sunrise... I would definitely repeat again.

Amazing experience, would highly recommend!Thank you so much to Philip & Helene for the wonderful welcome. We felt right at home upon arrival. Their kids were lovely and we had a little dance with them.Thank you for the recommendations and the morning tour to a nearby hidden waterfall. Also, the sunrise is beautiful, you see it right from your room.Hope we will see you again :)

Nice room, nice location and a very nice host. If you love cold and a very good scenery, this is the perfect homestay for you. Very nice sunrise as well, straight point. I personally love the big window in the room looking out to the most beautiful sunrise and landscape. Huge recommend!! Best success for the owner!! We enjoyed a stunning sunrise and sunset view over Ruteng from our bedroom at Camping and Glamping Ruteng, which is a simple homestay with spots for camping. We stayed for two nights with locals Philip and Helen (the home-owners) and their two young children. They were incredibly helpful, friendly and spoke good English. Phillip loved showing us around their old village, taking us to the local market, and even watching a football game with us at 3 in the morning! One of the highlights was eating singkong (cassave) that we harvested ourselves from their parent’s place. We had great conversations and shared a delicious barbecue. We highly recommend this place if you enjoy peace, nature, good views and kind people.

The room is simple. The view is amazing though! The owners very friendly and helpful. Very nice to have a conversation with. Speak good English. Breakfast and dinner are well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Just had a wonderful stay at the Ruteng Glamping & Campsite. Very friendly service and beautifully clean. Run by a lovely family.|Great views and we awoke to a spectacular sunrise. |We took the owner's advice and took a trek down the local river and had a great time.|We will definitely be back!

A very good place to stay for a night or more, located on the road side of trans flores road, overlooking the beautiful view of Ruteng city. Beautiful place with beautiful sunrise and friendly owner. If you happen to travel to Ruteng from Labuan Bajo and need an affordable and good accommodation in Ruteng, this place is recommended.

Fantastic View! one of the best accomodation in Ruteng with a fantastic view. Sunrise you can see right from your room with spaceful garden area around. a lot of activities can be done around here like farming, visiting local school, villagers and even trekking down the river.
