We had a really good time at The Forest Villa Batu Kurung. The staff was really friendly and service oriented. We booked a Villa with a private pool. The breakfast is delivered to the villa, the pancakes where delicious. We would recommend to stay here if you want to have a quiet stay away from the busy city center. Advice: rent a scooter to explore the surrounding.

The good reviews this accommodation has are absolutely justified! You just have to find it first 😅The villas are a little out of the way, but the city center can be reached quickly by taxi. But here you can completely escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The accommodation is located right next to the forest and you can really hear all kinds of animals coming from the forest. Really picturesque. It was a bit annoying that the neighbor has a chicken farm or something like that and unfortunately a rooster crowed loudly all night long, but of course the hotel can't help it.The villa has a beautiful bathroom, half of which is outdoors and the highlight is the private pool in each house, which could be a bit warmer. The garden is very adapted to the jungle next door with many plants, which permanently shade the garden, it's up to you whether you like that.The breakfast you ordered is delivered to your room every morning, which once again shows the great service.All in all a highly recommended accommodation

The best hotel we stayed in in Indonesia. The service was magnificent at all times, special mention to the jaffles and banana pancakes for breakfast (we have not found any others like them).The room is in line with the price paid, and is clean.The location, at least for us, perfect, close to Ubud but without being in the middle of the city.In addition, we rent a motorcycle there and you have the option of lunch/dinner.

I stayed here for four nights and was thoroughly impressed.The space and bed were very clean, the staff was friendly, and I enjoyed having a private pool.It was a nice bonus to have breakfast delivered to the villa at no extra cost, and the small kitchen with cooking facilities was a great convenience.In terms of location, it's a bit farther from Ubud city center, but that wasn’t an issue for me. The setting puts you closer to nature and offers easy access to activities like rafting and ATV tours, which I really enjoyed.I absolutely loved my stay and would recommend it to everyone. Just a heads up—this isn’t a sleek, modern hotel. It has a more traditional style, but it’s fantastic in its own way.

The location outside of Ubud in a residential area is ideal if you don't want to be among a crowd of tourists, cars and traffic jams all the time. In this area there are also good restaurants and hotels and it is very quiet.The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the chalets are very nice inside and out. Very well maintained and clean.The staff is very helpful and friendly. The receptionists are very diligent in arranging any type of excursion.The restaurant is nothing out of this world but it is fine.

Hello everyoneI am really shocked by this establishment.Attention Attention Attention does not even deserve 1 star I am paid with booking in advance for a stay of 3 nights with my wife since I saw the photos and the comments BUT BE CAREFUL upon our arrival it is not the same completely because the forest villa has 8 villa like the photos but also has 6 other villas as a reserve or we can say as plan B but in a neighborhood of Hindu and a lot of noise and above all very very room inside it is really dishonest to play with people and above all tourists like that.Avoid as there are other really better villas and I even left the villa after 15 minutes to look for another cleaner one.Warning Be careful again, it's a scam here.

Had a really great stay here! Very nice house with private pool and plenty of privacy. There is a very wide choice for breakfast and everything is delicious. We were able to rent a super nice scooter through the reception. Very friendly staff. You can also go here for dinner, we had a very tasty meal. It is useful to rent a scooter as it is about fifteen minutes from Ubud center. The resort is pricey, but if you want to relax, in my opinion it is definitely worth it!
