We took the cooking class as a pair. The chef and instructor took a lot of time, explained everything, and cooked an entire Balinese buffet with us using fresh ingredients. We found it extremely good

We had a great morning/lunch at Bera's Cooking Class. The transfer was also great and we were lucky that the two of us were able to do a cooking course and it wasn't canceled because of the other cancellations. It was a great privilege to learn so much about Indonesian cuisine and the food was delicious. 5 ⭐️

We enjoyed the offer of the cooking class. Great time by starting with the pick-up at our hotel (if in ubud) and then heading to a local market. We were showed around to get a feeling what the preperation looks like. Then we went to the restaurant which is at a quiet place (nature-ish).The cooking included cutting all the ingredients to cook and finalizing everything.(Transfer back included)The guides were very friendly and prepared everything as far as they could.Price is more than fair for the 5h tour you get!Would recommend definitely!

An excellent cooking class with Madé. We went to the market and then cooked. There was only our family (4 people) so there was time to have explanations. Madé knows all plants and their virtues very well. Thanks to him for everything (with a smile and humor).

Made was a great host and made the experience of learning to cook Balinese food fun. We were taken through the markets and shown the different ingredients used in the cooking and sampled some local treats. We had a great time and would highly recommend

great selection, excellent food, friendly people, pleasant atmosphere and cleanliness. Beras Bali is a must visit!!! I mainly recommend Balinese specialties, be prepared for big portions(I found out about this restaurant thanks to a conversation with the locals, but it's a shame that it doesn't appear in Apple Maps (when I enter "restaurants nearby"), because it's not marked as a "restaurant" but as a "culinary trip".)

The cooking class with Made has been the best choice to discover Balinese recipes and traditions. The visit to the local market together with the variety of the dishes cooked, made the experience authentic. Made, and his great personality, made this seem like a family setting, like in a real Ubud village.Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a non-touristic experience

We had an amazing experience at Beras Bali Cooking Class today. Madè took us to the local market early this morning and showed us the variety of local foods available and how we would be using them in our cooking. We then went back to his family Warung and started preparing the traditional Balinese dishes! This was a "hands on" fun experience as we learnt so much about traditional Balinese cooking. Madè and his team were happy to guide us through making seasonings with local spices, soup, main meals and desert. There was so much variety and we really enjoyed our feast after preparing all the dishes.We highly recommend doing Beras Bali Cooking Class.Lisa and Brett 🍽

Great cooking class, with visit to local market (if in the morning), fun while cooking. At the end eating, mmm. Water, thee and soda included (good barista coffee at extra charge). Food was far too much, incl soup, main course and dessert. Can be with or without fish/chicken or vega, all possible. Was about 4 hours. We had private lesson with our familie of 4. I can recommend this place!

We chose the cooking class in the morning. We were picked up by Made and when we were complete we went to a local market to view/discuss all the ingredients that had already been purchased for our cooking class.Once we arrived at the location (very spacious and beautifully set up), we could start cutting all the ingredients under supervision. Everything went at a perfect pace and there was also time for a joke/chat.We had a great time and ultimately had a delicious meal.It's really nice that you ultimately get the printed recipes to take home with you.Definitely recommended!!

The Beras Cooking Class was recommended to us by a Balinese woman and was worth every penny! Made, the owner of the Warungs and our cooking teacher, explained everything to us very well and we cooked everything ourselves under his instructions. What was particularly great was that we were alone with our 2 children and that our wishes were responded to very flexibly. Visiting a local market (we were the only tourists) was also very interesting. 100% recommended!
