This was probably the worst accommodation of our trip. Although we had a good offer in terms of price, the standard was still very low. The room was musty and moldy. The water didn't flow or was brown most of the day. The facility does not correspond to the pictures at all and clearly shows better times. By the way, the pool doesn't work either/is very dirty.

I had an amazing stay at this place.The property was great and a perfect location within walking distance to the woods and only 5 min driving (motorcycle or taxi) far from the town.Rina, her husband and all the staff make you feel like home from the very first moment, at the checkin indeed, and during the whole stay.This place is perfect for those ones who want to enjoy a quite and wonderful surroundings location.The bedroom was spacious, super clean and absolutely comfortable.If I ever visit Pai again, I will repeat this accommodation with no doubt.

We booked 3 nights, theoretically with air conditioning, when we arrived it did not have air conditioning and they did not give us a solution.The water from both the shower and the tap was drain water and came out brown, not even suitable for brushing your teeth.In the bar that was located in the middle of the resort, they were playing music at all hours that could be heard from the rooms, and it made it difficult to sleep.The workers spent the day smoking joints at the bar, which doesn't bother me personally, but let it be known.I don't recommend it, there are much better places around.

The hostel is full of bedbugs. We've all been bitten. Also, the bathroom is super dirty. And the water from the shower and tap comes out with mud, water that can be very harmful to your health. To top it all off, they told us the room would have air conditioning and it didn't, it just had a fan. I do not recommend this dirty place to anyone. If you can avoid it better.

Stayed there for one Night, we were really tired and temperature was fairly low, slept really good

Terrible place, don't book here!We had a room with private bathroom and mountain views. But the room, with only 2 beds and nothing else, only had a view of the bathroom, which was not even ours private, anyone could enter here. The shower only had a tap on the wall, and the water did not get hot.Moreover, there were no curtains in the room, everyone could see in, the mattress was harder than the floor and there were ants and other insects everywhere.The pool is white from a chemical foam, it is not possible to swim in it.We had booked 3 nights, but really couldn't stay after the second night.

Many thanks to Simon and Rina for their hospitality! We immediately felt comfortable and would come back at any time. The two of them were at our side at all times and helped wherever they could. Rina is an incredible cook and makes the best hummus in the world!

Wasn’t quite how the pictures looked. The staff were quite nice but the room was dreadful, kind of felt more like a prison cell. There was a badly covered up board in the corner of the room which was connected to some main house, had loads of gaps and could see people walking around as well as hear everything. No curtains on the room either which was directly outside the communal toilet so everyone can look straight in. It was also labeled a “Mountain View room” but if you look below there wasn’t a mountain in sight just the toilet… the pool was horrendous too it must have been 2ft deep and you couldn’t see the bottom it was so grimey

When arriving at the hostel we were shocked with the difference from pictures to reality , money and hairs found in the beds presumably not been changed since the last guests, dead bugs in the sink and leaves on the bathroom floor . …

be very careful because the images do not correspond to reality! we arrived there expecting to find one of the rooms in the images and instead they had reserved for us a room similar to a cellar, dark and dirty. In the reservation we had a double bed and we got a bunk bed. the air conditioner made such a noise that it would have been impossible to sleep. the resort let go, the pool unusable. asbestos and rubbish everywhere. we asked for a room change and were told we would have to pay more. so we left and now we are waiting for the refund from booking. the owner is the classic foreigner who comes to Thailand to make money by scamming tourists. I advise you not to go. there are many resorts in Pai run by honest thai people. this resort is a scam.

Our recent visit in this place wasn't what we expected. When we arrived, things seemed okay, but then we saw our room. It was supposed to be for three people, but it didn't look like the pictures we saw when we booked it. The room wasn't very clean, and it seemed like they didn't take good care of the place. Plus, there was a lot of noise from the air conditioners next door. The pool was also not working at all, and the beds in our room were all singles, even though we booked one double and one single.We talked to the owner about the problems, and they offered us another room, but it was just as bad and very small. It even had a shared bathroom, which wasn't what we signed up for. So, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to stay.The staff member who helped us was nice, and it wasn't her fault that things weren't right. But the people who run the place need to be more honest about what they offer and show real pictures of the rooms.

10 minutes walk from the center of Pai but in the middle of nature. Waking up and starting the day with a yoga class was the best part of the experience.

We arrived around 6pm and got greeted by some lady at the bar who went to get our room keys. As we settled into our room, we got a hunch to check the mattresses for bedbugs and that’s where the problems started.The main bed seemed like it was a new mattress, but the single bed had clear traces of bedbug drops. We called the lady over again and showed her the mattress, asking for a different room as we didn’t feel comfortable staying in an infested room. She decided to play dumb and first said she has never heard of bedbugs before (working at a hotel, really?), then said that bedbug bites weren’t THAT bad and that no previous guests have called her with any symptoms after a stay (cause naturally she’s the first person you’d call). After a bit of convincing her that bedbugs weren’t fun to deal with she agreed to take the mattress out of the room. My friend helped her take the mattress that she promptly moved over to a nearby storage room filled with other mattresses. Not sure if those were all infected already but they sure are now. Soon after, we realized the curtains of the room also showed signs of bedbugs and as no other rooms were available we simply left. No refund was issued and they didn’t seem to care about the bedbug situation at all.Upon contacting Agoda, they admitted that they received previous reports about bedbugs and dirtiness of the rooms but they still couldn’t issue a full refund. Save your money and your things and stay elsewhere. Bedbugs simply aren’t worth it.Reply:Hi Rina, thanks for the reply! I said bedbug drops were present on the mattress. That usually indicates a strong chance there are bedbugs hiding inside, as they’re extremely hard to get rid of without an exterminator.Also how did we behave rudely? We could’ve caused a scene but we simply left the room after deciding we didn’t feel comfortable staying.P.s my review doesn’t even mention the small ants swimming in the kettle or the smashed up bug getting eaten by ants that was in the shower. Your room was simply disgusting regardless of whether you were trying to be nice about it. I have no reason to want to ‘hurt the business’, just warn others of bedbugs.
