Slowlife bed and breakfast but no breakfast, TV no signal The employee said sorry. ..end...at 7:30 everyone was lost, internet signal It's in front of the office. When I got to the room, I was shocked..the swimming pool was only waist deep..it was very slippery when I went in...it was full of algae.

The receptionist borrowed/stole 2000 baht from me claiming that he made a mistake with one of the guests and that he would pay me back in a few days, of course the money never came back to me.The owner of the place and the manager did not take responsibility and behaved in a rude manner, I did not even receive compensation, a place that treats guests like that I have never seen.I do not recommend coming.

Nice place, easy to rent a motorbike and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Like someone else mentioned, please be careful with your passport. My girlfriend gave her passport to the man working at reception and he held onto it for more than 24 hours making excuses when we asked for it back. They speak very little English so we were quite confused but luckily we got it back easily. Additionally, the man came to my room one night and asked me to borrow 2000 baht as someone had forgotten to pay. I stupidly lent him the money and once again he made excuses the next morning for not having the money even though he said he would have it by morning which I thought was quite unprofessional. I got the money back eventually but it was still quite stressful however I don’t think they are ‘scammers’ or anything just maybe a little too relaxed. In conclusion, I would recommend this place but just be a bit weary!

We stayed at the Slow Life Sabaidee in Pai for 2 nights in a private room. Initially, everything was fine, though the room had some ceiling mould it was better than most rooms available in that price range. However, on our first night one of the workers came over and asked for my passport as there was something wrong with registration with tourism authorities, and he needed it to run again. Reluctantly, I gave it back on the proviso he returns it the next morning. I cannot stress enough - DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN. The next day, he made up every excuse, disappeared without a trace, came back with a sketchy story, and outright lied about where my passport was so badly I had to call the police over it and lodge a report. EVENTUALLY the passport was recovered but it took everything short of brick through the window to get back, despite how illegal withholding passports without reason is. I repeat, DO NOT give these people your passport for more than absolutely necessary.

Overall ok-sewage smell, no towel rack in the shower, no handles on the doors in the toilet and shower, previous guests left soap in the soap dish with hair, and the soap dish itself is dirty. The pool in the photo looks good, in real life, so we were disdainful to swim.

We stayed at Slow Life for 3 nights and all in all it was okay for the price. But then we moved again to another hotel and you can say that you can live better in Pai for less money. It takes about 20 minutes to get into town on foot, but I personally think it's nice to get some exercise and then have some peace and quiet! The hotel was originally furnished with a lot of love, but then it simply wasn't maintained...When we arrived we first had to call a separate number and they then told a person from the hotel that we were there and then after 10 minutes someone showed up. A bell or something like that would be an advantage here. Then we went into the room and discovered that our bathroom was very dirty (dirt and grease from previous guests and a sticker from shower gel on the walls). We then asked for it to be cleaned and it was done immediately! The pool area is a joke compared to the pictures! I think the water needs to be chlorinated more, then it will be clearer/bluer. In general, seating and loungers would be an advantage in the pool area, so you could lie down there and relax. Our room was right next door so we could lie down there, but it's still not the optimal solution. I think the ladder to get into the pool will be broken in the next few weeks. The handles have rusty spots and the screw connection is also rusting. The room we were in (Room 10) could also use a new coat of paint and a renovation of the bathroom including shower. This is getting pretty old. There is mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, the shower head is completely dirty... Nevertheless, we had air conditioning that worked great, the bed was comfortable and we had a bathroom in the room (toilet and shower each in their own room)Regarding the lying and sitting area in front of the room: why isn't there a cover/cushion on it that would make lying down much more comfortable? So in general it can be said that an attempt was made to prepare everything nicely, but the implementation was lacking in some corners and not enough thought was given from the guest's perspective. A laundry service is offered here for 40 baht per kg, which is really good!

Relative to the price it was not worth itReasonable rooms, no hot water in the shower, the hotel is very far from the city center (20 minutes walk)The pool is polluted to the point where it is impossible to enterPayment for the hotel is in cash only, which made it very difficult for us to have cash in town.

Room was a great size and nice design, however the pool is unusable and the hotel is pretty run down, stayed for 4 nights and had no house keeping once and had to continuously ask for more toilet roll and was told there isn’t any mid way through our stay, you also have to provide 400 baht for the room key deposit, reception is often not maned either, the hotel has the potential to be good if the pool and social area was maintained and house keeping provided

It was not at all as advertised in Hostelworld. The pool was dirty, green, half full and full of animals. The floor around it was old rotten and protruding nails. All chairs on the terrace were damaged, the pool table was completely destroyed. They do not respond to a complaint. The laundry service they offer has shrunk my clothes. The rooms were fine but we would have preferred to stay somewhere else.We have given them several opportunities to resolve it but they have not said anything.
