Who would have thought that there was a place to stay in a garden in the middle of a rice field?It's great, both the price and the owner's excellent service. that takes good care of visitorsincluding receptionThree mischievous little French Bulldog mixes. I love you so much.

An enchanting two day stay in this lovely guest house. The loving decor, warm hospitality from Andy and Kajohn and the idyllic surroundings created an unforgettable experience. They were attentive and the amenities added to the overall comfort.Highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing holiday far away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok or the tourist-crowded beach resorts.If you love the peace and quiet of nature, this is the right place for you.The two hosts also show and explain “country life” in Thailand and you can also lend a hand and plant something yourself if you want.In Wat Bot, the nearest town, there are 7-11, weekly market, ATM etc.The provincial capital Phitsanulok is about 30 minutes away by car. Here you can visit temples, eat delicious food and get good Thai massages.Thank you very much, khob khun maak krup for the very pleasant 2 days. 😌🙏

We found this place on Google as we needed a place for an overnight stop between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. How Waldeck is around 30 min from Phitsanulok away. We arrived at night, which was a little dark, as google guided us through a land road with no lights. Make sure you opt for the big road should you arrive past dawn. The owners (German/ Thai) are super friendly and have a high sense of hospitality. There are 4 guest rooms of good sizing with a king size as well as a twin size bed. The room was clean and towels and bedding on a good level (more home style and not white hotel). The bathroom was great and very modern European standard with anti slip tiles. This is great as we stayed with the kids. The property is in the middle of rice fields, and apart from crickets, you won't hear a noise. Minibar was filled with water and soft drinks.Breakfast was great. There is no menu, but western egg dishes as well as thai rice soup are provided. Bread and jam are homemade, and they have some duck eggs from their farm. The food was delicious and portions big. They go out of their way to make you a nice breakfast and ensure you are happy. There are three dogs on the property, which are very friendly once they get to know you. The pool was not open for use during our stay, but this would be an easy fix if you requested in advance. Overall, we loved our short stay and will definitely come back if we are passing through.

Hof Waldeck - a dream, an oasis of peace!The bungalows in the middle of a lovingly landscaped garden full of trees and flowering bushes, in front of which is the 15 m long pool. A few laps after getting up and breakfast tastes so good again!I enjoyed everything to the fullest and soaked up the sights and smells! And the cricket concert in the evening - we pay a lot of money for this complete deceleration program at home!The bungalows are tastefully and lovingly furnished - the perfect accommodation for a successful holiday.Not to forget the warm hosts: Kajohn and Andreas live for their guests! From the transfer to excursions in the surrounding area and information about the country and its people to the delicious and varied food - everything is just right!!The three dogs adopted me immediately and let me pet them, preferably for hours. But don't worry, they are very well behaved and they don't have access to the guest area.My conclusion: 10 days are definitely not enough!!! Next time I'll stay longer!!THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Hof Waldeck is such a lovely place! The property is quite big and the area is so peaceful. We stayed with Andreas and John and our bungalow provided everything that you need and much more to make you feel home away from home! These two really made sure we had an unforgettable stay. They went above and beyond from picking us up from the train station to providing us with water and delicious home made food, considering what we liked and our allergies as well! They even took us out to see temples, crafted lanterns with us so we could release them at the lantern festival! This place provides so much more than just a stay, it is a home and I would always come back.

I could not have imagined a better place than Hof Waldeck for my first stay in Thailand.The hosts Andreas and John took the best care of me and my two friends. Perfectly clean Bungalows, a large pool, delicious food and two friendly tour guides, fluent in English, German and Thai.The place is a small green oasis in the middle of the countryside of Phitsanulok and if I ever decide to come back to Thailand I have to come back to Hof Waldeck.If I could, I would give 6 Stars!

Kajohn and Andreas are very special people. They met our every wish. If you are looking for peace and quiet and love nature, you can stay in lovingly furnished bungalows where nothing is missing. We will always come back🐈🐕

As part of a stay abroad, I spent 3 months at the Waldeck farm at the end of last year. I had a wonderful time there and through Andreas and John I had the opportunity to learn a lot about life there and to experience it for myself. During my time I didn't miss anything and I felt at home there. They were the perfect hosts!From the design of the activities to the excursions, they fulfilled my every wish and took perfect care of me. The complex is located in an idyllic, rural area. The bungalows are wonderfully equipped and you really don't miss anything. I will never forget my time there and am very grateful to Andreas and John. I often think back on that time and will hopefully come back again.

They are both perfect hosts. The accommodations are very comfortable in a quiet, rural setting, perfect for relaxing but also a good starting point for discovery tours (e.g. Sukothai)I will definitely come by again.

A totally fantastic holiday.After the turbulent and hectic days in Bangkok... pure deceleration!The fantastic, spacious and lovingly designed facility by Andreas and John, with all the tropical plants, makes your heart soar.4 large, lovingly furnished bungalows are equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay: large bed, seating area, television, refrigerator, kettle, additional sofa bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, large bathroom, private terrace with a view of the garden and up the large pool... you feel at home.In the evening on the terrace with a cool drink, surrounded by rice fields and listening to the sounds of the local wildlife, makes it an unforgettable experience.The hosts Andreas and John take loving care of their guests and fulfill almost every wish. The trips to the surrounding area, to the various temples, to Phitsanulok and various markets, were perfectly organized.Unfortunately I was only with Andreas and John for 16 days, but I would have liked to stay longer.But I'll definitely come back. Thank you for a fantastic vacation!!!

I was also very lucky to spend part of my vacation at Hof Waldeck.No matter how long you stay, there are always too few days because you don't want to leave once you've been there for the first time.Next time I will take a few friends with me so that I can share the happiness and moments with them in this loving place.I'm already looking forward to watching Kajohn and Andreas again next year!

Andi and John have created a little paradise for themselves. The beautiful and very tastefully furnished bungalows are located in the middle of nature, you won't miss anything. I still often think about our cooking together and the nice conversations on the terrace. I'll definitely be back.
