It felt like a detention centre on the border of two 3rd world countries, so hot and very spartan.The room only had 1 plug socket for the fan, so i couldn't even charge my phole at night. The owner was also very noisy and annoying like a trapped seagull.The place was quite dirty, and parts of the windows were missing.

Since it is a guesthouse, be sure to check that air conditioning is chargeable and there is no refrigerator. The location was very good. The free use of bicycles was also very useful. Thank you!!

It was okay. I don't think I would go there again because I am a difficult sleeper and it is very noisy. Woke up at 7 am to a barking dog and I heard the staff very early every time. The air conditioning was also inexplicably broken, which made me sweat all night and the next day it suddenly worked again... in terms of location it is perfect and for the price it is great.

It was super! Joy and here sister are so sweet and take care of you. The room is fine. Nothing to complain about! I stayed there for 7 nights. I had a deluxe room. Airco works fine and I hireda motorbike to see Kanchanaburi. Good food on the Nightmarkets.

The guesthouse it located very well, just around the corner from Kanchanaburi bus station, but on a quiet, peaceful back road.Bike and moped hire made travelling around the city very easy and fun. Bike hire for a very reasonable 50 THB for the whole day.The host could not have been any nicer. She was very helpful working out where to go, what to do I.e. she helped us plan our trip to Erawan National Park, and out onward trip to Auytthaya via Saphan Buri. She told us exactly what busses to take, where to find them, what time and the prices. She also offered cheap and tasty breakfast and lunch that we could order at any time that suited us.Disliked · We found our bed was a little bit hard for our liking, but this is, of course, personal preference. We made some friends during our stay who said that their bed was super soft, so maybe something worth considering when filling out any special requests :). This is just advice, and would not deter us from booking again at this lovely guest house.

We stayed here for 2 nights originally but ended up extending it to 4. The second room had an ensuite, the first was a a shared bathroom. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and there are 2 showers and 2 toilets. Rooms had aircon and the beds were very comfortable. The common area was comfortable, there is a smoking area also. A choice of breakfast is available and some cold drinks are stocked in the fridge. The location is brilliant, walking distance from the shops, bus station and night market, or you can rent bicycles or mopeds directly from the guesthouse. We did both with no problems. Would definitely stay here again

We had an amazing stay at Canaan Guesthouse. We are a family of 4 and arrived early in the morning. We were able to get the suite room (without paying any additional fees). The owners are exceptionally kind. They took great care of us. We were able to rent scooters without difficulty.The rooms are clean for an unbeatable price. Then the location is ideal, right next to the bus station.Thank you for everything ! You are awesome ! This is one of my best stays during my road trip.

The hostel is located close to the bus station, it’s perfect! You can rent bikes or scooters! Laundry service and breakfast are also offered! The room and bathroom were clean!Joy and her husband are very welcoming and respond quickly to requests!I was supposed to stay 2 nights and for my part, I ended up staying 5 nights!

A ridiculously reasonable inn run by a friendly female owner. Apparently it used to be very popular with Japanese backpackers, but now there aren't many Japanese people here. On the other hand, I think Westerners tend to go solo, as couples, and in groups. This is a relaxing inn like no other. After all, the bus terminal is super close and you can order food. When it comes to eating out, there are food stalls and restaurants around the bus terminal, and in the evening, you can eat anything you want in time for dinner between the bus terminal and the nearby R323. Unlike before, water is not free from plastic bottles, but safe water comes out of the water purifier for free. This is convenient and affordable.I hope this Canaan Guesthouse stays open forever. This guest house is extremely relaxing and soothing. I think there are many strong fans among Japanese people. I think once you stay there, you will realize that there is no lie in this explanation.

It is a Guest House that is very close to the Kanchanaburi bus station. Can walk for only 4 minutes. Clean rooms The size is just enough to relax before leaving the next day. Cheap and friendly. After 9:30 p.m. the main door is locked. If guests want to go outside, they can use the key given to them by the staff upon check-in. Then you need to close the lock back completely.
