The location is great, right on the beach. The inn is a small room with a bathroom, very clean and well maintained. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you need anything or have any questions, they are there immediately. Unbeatable for the price.

Lovely place to stay on a lovely island. Very welcoming environment and all staff super friendly and will be on first name basis. Just opposite a really nice beach. The beds are comfy. No Aircon but had a big fan and this was good enough.

Management is very attentive and actually personally care that you have the best time on the island. Cheapest option on the island. Much better than other options in this price range. In the center of the island in proximity to beach across the street and bakery-cannabis store down the street. Nice hang out area with pool table and solid Thai cuisine.

Originally, we had planned to stay for just one night, but we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for the rest of our trip. The two hosts Cherry and Chris were absolutely fantastic – always helpful and ready for a friendly chat. We also had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner at their in-house restaurant, all at great prices. We were genuinely saddened to leave this charming place and will miss it dearly.The rooms were perfectly fine and equipped with everything we needed, including towels, shampoo, and bedding. They were also kept clean and tidy. Upon request, you can also have your laundry done here.

Pros: one of the cheapest option on the Island. The food at the restaurant is quite good. The location is pretty good, with diving center right next to it. The rooms were clean.Cons: the rooms are very hot and dark. Mattress is extremely uncomfortable and there was no option for 2 single beds. It's not soundproofed si you'd hear your neighbors even snoozing. Very low pressure in the shower, it was quite a struggle to wash my hair. No fridge in the room. They won't clean your rooms unless you ask them to.

The Host(s) were super friendly and kind, even though we just stayed for one night, you felt welcome immediately.the location was a little behind the main road (still quiet) in the middle of a green garden. the balcony/chill area (hammocks) in front of the room was nice.The rooms were very dark, hard mattress, uncomfortable pillows, and two different blankets (soft, for cold areas... so horrible for Thailand).Overall decent price for value on Koh Kood - okay for 2-3 nights, or more if "basic" is all you need

Great accommodation for the price. Owner was super nice. We felt very comfortable here and were in good hands if we had any problems. Very familiar here. 👍 They were also addressed by their first names right from the start.

Central location with simple rooms- Location: Direct access to the beach (opposite). Bars and restaurants nearby- Rooms: simply furnished, towels, air conditioning and fans available, comfortable mattress and pillows, storage space and options for hanging up clothes- Service excellent: helpful, courteous and friendly- Breakfast: Delicious - Can be booked as well- Room facilities were very “temporary”- Toilet paper and possibly water bottles would be an advantage

Pleasant and responsive hosts. Good price-quality ratio, several beaches within walking distance, you can rent a bike. Has its own cafe. The atmosphere is pleasant. The rooms are not bad, but for me, for a couple of nights, because the audibility is strong, the room is dark, I would like more light. Overall I have good impressions.

Super nice owners and employees who take care of everything for you, they are currently doing a lot of expansion and renovation, but you don't notice much of it! I would highly recommend a scooter, you can rent it directly from the guesthouse!There is also a beach in the immediate vicinity and I can only warmly recommend the local diving school!

Nice place. Literally 10-15 minutes walk to the best beach on the island. Friendly and friendly host. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I recommend it for a budget holiday.

Stayed here for six days. The upper rooms with fan are great! Big bed, good pillows, private bathroom and its all clean. You will find a chained monkey on the reception. I would strongly advice you to ask why before you judge. There's a history behind it.

The German was abusing staff so I told him to stop then he tried to act like that to me - that didn't work! - AVOID this place shame because the couple that run it are lovely - also the monkey is chained up, no freedom 😢

Happy Days is a great place from which to explore Kho Kood. It is perfectly situated close to the main beaches and restaurants and shops with easy scooter rental and good breakfast. Lovely and welcoming hosts as well. :)
