We absolutely loved our stay at Elephant & Castle. It's a really chilled place, surrounded by a beautiful forest. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, just great value all around! They also have a few motorbikes, and if they're not all taken, you can rent one from them which is extremely convenient.There are many dogs (8?) at the property, all of them adorable, which made the stay even better! And the owners are awesome characters! Top banter to be had with them, never a dull moment :)

A week spent with John, in his personal paradise which he agrees to share with, in the order he himself established, his wife Lên, his guests and his dogs, and here we are plunged back into the Thailand we love .... The calm, nature and its varied sounds, the small local restaurants along the road, the bar by the sea where you are invited to a game of pétanque.... You will like everything!The bungalow is simple and very clean, the terrace perfect for morning yoga, the Wi-Fi and air conditioning are excellent. John, after more than 20 years spent in Koh Chang, is a mine of information and advice.His accommodation is ideally located on the island, he rents scooters, but given the height differences we opted for collective taxis.Go there without hesitation, your stay will be perfect as ours was.

The place is located about 150m from the road in the jungle. Spacious cabins with air conditioning, TV, fridge and kettle. In the evening it is very quiet here and even the owner's dogs don't bark.About 200m to the beach or anywhere else by scooter. I can only recommend.

Great place to relax. The cabins are spacious and clean with air conditioning, a kettle and coffee mugs. There is a beautiful calm here. Two grocery stores about 100 meters away. Beaches on a scooter in complete peace. The owner will provide the scooter for 250THB per day so you can get where you need to go. The owner John is a very nice person. There are about 5 dogs here, but they are good and do not bark at all in the evening. There is a beautiful calm here. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants peace in the middle of the jungle.

.Stayed for 4 days. Excellent bungalow. Complete relaxation. Hospitable owner John 👍 and his dogs who guard the territory 😁 You need a bike 5 minutes drive to the beach. Lotus store is nearby.

Good spacious room, inexpensive price, suitable for people who really like to relax. Located next to a rubber plantation, the weather is very good, quiet, I like it, but the entrance is a little narrow.It's a little uphill. A big car might not be convenient.The owner is Thai plus foreigners. Friendly service, recommended.P.S. There is a dog waiting to welcome you.

It is run by a very cheerful English grandfather. His personality is refreshing and good. The room had a few ants and a lizard, but there were no other bugs, so it was better than I expected. There are a lot of trees around, so it's good to rest.

These spacious bungalows are simple, quiet, and comfortable. Location is on a quiet street between the major tourist towns on the west side. If you want a stay that is more personal and friendly than a hotel, this is for you.

Large, clean and quiet bungalows at a good price including mega-fast internet if you need it (300Mbit up & down).I assumed you would hear the street - but that's not the case at all and it was pleasantly quiet.Big C shopping a few meters away and Tesco just opposite.Yes, the bars are a bit away, but that's exactly why you have peace and quiet there and scooters (Honda Click) can be rented directly at the property.The owner is an extremely friendly and sociable person - respects privacy and if something is needed he takes care of it immediately.Location on Google Maps is correct, drive a little way up the small path directly opposite Tesco and where the dogs bark.Don't worry, they just bark - but unlike another recession here, I never heard them at night.Thank you for the wonderful days.Greetings: the bearded racing cyclist

Our 'go to' place on Koh Chang when we need a no fuss, no hassle break away. Large clean rooms set on a hillside in the jungle. John is a mine of information for anything Koh Chang related...and beyond! He will organise anything you need, or will know someone that can. Happy days...happy stays everytime 👌
