The Ngam Kho Resort

From May to the end of October the island is deserted, the water is cloudy and hardly any activities are possible. The hotel prices like this hotel are excessively expensive at this time and are not justified in the high season. All beaches full of rubbish. I started cleaning the beach at this hotel myself. Help was given the next day, but the Thais only ever clean part of it. I cleaned the remaining part and lo and behold, an inspection day after day and hardly any new rubbish arrives. By the way, the garbage itself comes from Thailand. The shower is a disaster because it is not separated from the toilet and sink. Everything is wet every day and it's just disgusting to walk in there. No rooms are cleaned, you have to do it yourself. There is no broom. The hotel has not been renovated since its completion. The beds and mattresses are to be thrown away. You have to buy new. Washing is not enough. The hotel complex is always under water because the water is not properly drained underground. you walk through a swamp to the beach. Angular. We had booked with breakfast and WiFi. Ken breakfast and no internet for a week. They simply said the kitchen was closed. And the young, untrained manager didn't have much interest in repairing WiFi. The beach cannot be used between May and the end of October because it is cloudy and there are waves and no sandy beach, but stones everywhere. Without shoes you get hurt and you get cut all over the place if you tip over in the water. I could write a whole novel, and none of it works here. The room is very expensive and has no air conditioning and is very cramped. Booked through the app (it was my fault that I booked incorrectly. Normally, I travel everywhere that has air conditioning, so I forget to check.)The plug has only 1 hole to plug into. I don't know how to save that much.The curtains closed on the window caused the light to enter the eyes, making it difficult to sleep properly.Plus there are 2 geckos to watch over the house.The food is delicious. Breakfast takes a very long time, but cooking porridge takes a very long time. Breakfast is made to order, not a buffet.Breakfast spot Employees like to smoke, very smelly.The beach is not very good. There are a lot of rocks and shellfish. You might get hurt if you play.First and last time here. Go stay somewhere else, the white sand beach is much more beautiful. Ao Phrao is about the same price but better than everything.

Wonderful, lovely, fantastic place with a stunning beach and amazing tropical garden, managed by super nice staff. Great food and drinks and free kayak use for residents.A true and well deserved 5 Star rating 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Horrible experience. I don't know why they charge so much money for such terrible service. When I entered the room after checking in, I went to the bathroom, which was supposedly cleaned before we entered and smelled like pee and didn't seem very clean.The only thing they did at check in was take us to the room as they didn't explain anything about how the space worked, nor did they mention what breakfast was like or what the Wi-Fi was.Subsequent communication was almost nil.Very poor breakfast 😞.We rented a motorbike through them which we were lucky not to end up on the road with. The next day we had to change it as it was impossible to walk with it in such bad condition.Anyway, we had many more bad experiences in this space.I don't recommend it to anyone.

Nice beach with a jetty, unfortunately little shade.The restaurant is quite expensive and takes forever (waited 2 hours until everything was there).The cabins are very basic, not really clean. Here you pay for the location!

A magnificent place. Everything fits perfectly into the environment. The atmosphere is cool and the welcome very friendlyThe small bungalows are simple but very comfortable and well designed. Almost all of them have a magnificent view of the sea. The cove faces north so there is shade.Really an address to recommend

Amazing place with wonderful staff, well taken care, maintained, clean, and perfectly organised but layed back too! Wonderful views and not too crowded :) The whole team is super helpful!

It is a very nice place with direct access to the sea. We stayed in the small resort for ten days. There is a lovely black dog there who is friendly and enjoys being petted by loved ones and is very grateful when you give him water to drink. We stayed in a bungalow with air conditioning. During our stay we had to clean our rooms ourselves (sweeping, taking out the trash), which was okay with us. The bungalow was good, but the small bathroom did not meet our expectations.
