The rooms at Lazy are even better than the photos, which I find rare :). Incredible sunset views on the beach and nice swimming, although too much rubbish all over Koh Mak (as strangely, they only clean up for the high season). Internet to the rooms was terrible, so I had to work from the restaurant; no internet was annoying in the evenings (i.e. no Netflix). All of the staff are amazing, with a special shout out to Seth. He is always smiling and doing lots of small things to make your stay here special; he is an amazing guy. We enjoyed the free breakfast, asking them to swap toast for rice, so that the meal was more substantial for us. Very accommodating hosts. We thought the beers were overpriced and we get a chance to try eating dinner here (eating at nearby QBar was outstanding). We rented a 160 Click from Lazy, the price was fair and the bike was almost new. Free pickup and drop off to the nearby pier. We played pickleball daily at the nearby tennis courts, and we also played with local Thai's and expats before sunset at Banana Sunset Bar. Also recommend sunset drinks (and snorkelling) at Blue Pearl Bar, and also a swim/drink at Seavana. We enjoyed Koh Mak, met plenty of interesting people either living, moving to or traveling there.

We were here in August and by low season they mean low season! We were the only guests.The complex and houses are very well maintained and in absolutely very good condition. The terraces with a roof directly on the beach invite you to linger, as do the dining area and your own veranda.The staff is extremely friendly and helpful at any time. Very spontaneously we were picked up from our resort at the pier after an employee from the ferry called there. They also booked our onward journey to Koh Kut without us having to ask. The transfer back to the pier almost goes without saying!The included breakfast was very good. We were thrilled with the muesli.At this time the entire island is almost deserted for tourism. As a result, many resorts and restaurants were closed. Here you can be alone at the time!We were able to rent scooters directly at the resort.

The best parts are the courtesy and the staff and breakfast. Property and room are well maintained and super clean. Food is a little but pricy but with 10%discount for hotel guests. Kayak is free of charge which is so good for us as a family. Happy experience with Lazy Day resort. Thank you. Hope we can come back again
