Ive stayed here many times. Clean, friendly, quiet, lovely rooms, and nice view over the river. short walk to the town center. Easily the best place in Trat and beyond!

Just looking at picture from my stay in Koh Chang and at Baan Rim Naam and it’s definitely going to remain a favourite vacation place. Came with my brother and his family and they had been before. I think most of the visitors end up coming many times and all know the proprietors who make definitely make sure you stay is comfortable. I Highly recommend

I've stayed at BRM 3 times, alone, as a married couple and then again with 2 kids in tow.Each visit has been warm and welcoming and the team went over and above in unexpected ways each time. I hope I have her name right but MiMi absolutely floored us with her warmth and friendliness.For us the quiet location (but with many options to eat and drink around) and access to the river made for a wonderful week.Within the rooms they have everything you could ask for, cool air con, comfortable beds and seamless internet access. They helped us make bookings for activities and each time it was a hit.If I put as much thought into this review as Ian and the team did to make our stay wonderful it would be miles long with accolades but thankfully Google has a word limit😁.

Our 3rd time at Baan Rim Nam - we just love this place. It's now even better after redesign, totally comfortable and perfectly clean. Ian and his staff are so kind and helped us with everything, they also organized a comfortable private transfer to and from their place. Thanks for everything!

Another perfect stay. Beautiful setting with lovely rooms and very comfortable beds and pillows. The staff are lovely and as others have said, it feels more like you are visiting someone's home, than simply paying for a room.

We returned to Baan Rim Nam after a few years (obligatory covid) brake . The things that were good before and made us come back are still perfect, quiet location in the "armpit" of the river and the sea, a lovely wooden terrace on the river for drinking morning coffee and reading a book, free canoes for little adventures, well-functioning wifi, really nice staff, who makes you feel like you've come for a visit to someones home and not for paid accommodation, and of course owner Ian, from whom you can always get tips and help, whether you want to go hiking, eat or see the sights. The biggest change is that instead of the former five rooms, there are now four completely renovated rooms. The two-bedroom family room is, simply put, really good. Very clean, really comfortable bed and excellent linens, pillows and blankets, the bathroom is functional, and their shower soap is absolutely wonderful!! It's nice to get fruit from the village and other small snacks for the fridge, and you can prepare your daily coffee in the small but functional kitchen. And if you need your daily dose for Netflix, there is big tv for that. We couldn't have wished for anything more, the week as guests of Ian and the staff went by way too quickly.We walked to the village in about 20 minutes, there is a nice bakery and enough different places to eat every night of the week. After the meal, it's easy to grab a taxi from the street and return to paradise. Nearby, a few minutes' walk away, there is a good sandy beach and the Palm Beach restaurant, which offers good food and cocktails, is definitely worth checking out.If you are looking for a place with bars and parties around all the time, this is not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you enjoy a high-class room, a small resort and its relaxed atmosphere, you like to sit with a drink on the terrace and watch life on the river, go to the village to eat and take canoe trips, you couldn't make a better choice:)Baan Rim Nam does not have a restaurant, but you can have simple breakfast to start your day :)

Beautiful guesthouse in the mangroves directly on the idyllic bank of a river that flows into the sea after a few hundred meters. For me it is also the most beautiful stretch of beach on Koh Chang. The hosts are extremely warm and helpful, there are free canoes and standup boards available and you can start directly from the terrace. Another highlight are the modern, large and very tastefully furnished rooms, which can easily be described as luxurious and would also be worthy of an upscale hotel. Netflix included, where can you get that! So absolute recommendation for this pearl.

I'm not used to share a location of a gold mine but this resort as well as the owner deserves it. We spent 6 nights with 2 children and we loved it. Everything is perfect, rooms are fully equiped and brand new, you can swim directly in fresh water in the klong or walk 2min to a very nice beach with a good restaurant.Town is about 10/15min walking and you will see monkeys. If you walk alone someone will pick you up on his motorbike on the road 🙂. You'll have anyway to rent a car or motorbike if you want to go around the island.Staff is great, if you travel in family from or to Bangkok I suggest you book a van with the resort. It's much more convenient/fast and around the same price than fixed scheduled buses/boats and it'll pick you up directly at your resort at the time you want.Discover by yourself if you have the chance to have a room available (it's a very small resort) you won't be disapointed. It's not a tourist factory and the price is very low for what you get.Many other advantages I didn't mention (kayaks for free, cheap drinks etc.)

I'd like to say this is one of the best experience accommodation in my life. Beautiful river view, chill atmosphere, cozy room, helpful and hosipable host, fair price. I had enjoyable time here, boating or SUP or doing nothing just seeing the river.I like it very much. You can come here without making any plans. The owner of the B&B provides a lot of useful information. You can book laundry, car rental, and itinerary. The price is also very reasonable. You can row a boat to the other side to eat, or go upstream for a stroll. A place to find peace of mind.

I can’t bear to recommend this treasure hotel to others. The rooms are very clean. The boss renovated the room during the COVID-19 epidemic. The service staff are very friendly. They will tell you information about food, accommodation and travel around you (there is also a 14-page pdf electronic file that you can scan. QR code) The hotel can rent single-person paddle boards and kayaks for free. It also has two adopted dogs. One is friendly but is old and the other has a bad temper and cannot be messed with, but their presence makes the hotel more interesting and lively. This is one of the hotels with the best service I have experienced in Thailand (second only to six senses) even though it does not have a restaurant (you can take a boat or paddle to the restaurant on the other side of the river to eat) of course the hotel provides simple breakfast such as cereals, corn flakes, and yogurt , toast and other charges are also very reasonable. What makes us happy most is that we can get the washed clothes on the same day. They smell delicious. If I come to Koh Chang next time, I will still choose to stay here.

Best place to be in Koh Chang, between mangrove and the sea. Rooms are perfectly clean and beautiful. Warm welcome by Ian and his team. Kayak and stand up paddle are lent by the hotel.king size bed, AC, Cooler and hot water. Evrything was perfect. Possibility to have a breakfast
