We were there for dinner. There wasn't much going on in the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and our order was taken straight away. After a short wait, our food arrived. It was very tasty and authentic.

I was surprised to read some of the nasty reviews about this small restaurant, run by a sweet Thai family. So I thought I would check it out with my friends from Thailand, to see if it was "authentic" enough for them, or if it was "cooked with enough love and passion" as another pathetic tourist commented.In summary, the food was delicious.The shrimp were HUGE and fresh, the stir fried curry was spicy, and the fried chicken salad was crispy until the last bite. All for prices that would shock you back home, but for some reason you expect a lot more here?After years of COVID taking a toll on these communities, it pains me to read flippant reviews by adolescents, who are clearly trying to inflict damage upon the business. Grow up, or better yet....stay home.

I went to eat. Needed to wait food almost 1 hour, and at restaurant was about 10 to 14 people?? Why service was so poor and slow.Food looks good, but didn't taste anything.Also for check needed to wait long time.Don't recommend.

We ate here for lunch, some of the best food we had on the island. Papaya salad, yellow chicken curry and shrimp in tamarind paste. Lovely staff. Restaurant is a little odd and the toilet worth a visit as it’s so wonky - but it all makes for a great experience.It’s easy to miss the restaurant as the name isn’t visible - but worth seeking out!

We went to the restaurant based on recommendations.It exceeded all of our expectations. This was the best food we have eaten in Thailand so far.The family-run restaurant is a highlight. Also recommended for children, as the family is very child-friendly. The service was impeccable.Price-performance ratio was great.

The last bad review I could just explain as - simply the wrong restaurant rated. Give it pls no attention.We were there tonight. It’s very good Thai food in a lot of variants. Home made and excellent in taste.The prices are by far the best that we could find in 4 days - we ate on the island elegant, easy, on the beach and in the backland …this restaurant offers great food for a great price and the service (family run) is also better then in some beach restaurants we tried - chapeau !You can’t do nothing wrong going here for dinner (lunch I guess as well 😜)for our plates - see pictures - and the papaya salad i did not photograph - we paid including the beers - 590 baht - plus - of course - tip.High recommendation !!If we stayed longer would we go again !

I stayed in koh yao yai for 4 nights and went here for dinner twice and once for dessert. There were no photos because as soon as the food came it was amazing. Reccomend the roti and curry sauce, fried popcorn chicken, green curry, yellow curry, egg noodles w beef, pad see yew and last but not least the sweet roti for dessert. They sell a few local beers and I would come back time and time again!

Classic tourist trap.Already expensive for price performanceFresh juice is quite boldly bagged juice. This cheap one. From really bad hotels.Never waited so long for food in Thailand
