We would have loved to love this place but unfortunately it was a real big let down. When we arrived at our own bungalow, we immediately noticed a musty smell in the room. Exhausted from the trip, we immediately went to rest and then we noticed that the sheets also smelled really musty and musty. We asked for a change of sheets. The change didn't help and that's when we noticed the mold spots on the pillows and mattress. Luckily we got new pillows, but they also had a musty smell. The bed was small and uncomfortable. There was no soundproofing in the room and there were, for example, mosquitoes, cockroaches and lizards. The water coming out of the faucet was yellow/brown. The beach was really dirty and full of garbage, also the snorkel masks we got from the reception were dirty and had someone else's lipsticks in the mouth piece. Next to the hotel there is also some kind of landfill, where a lot of garbage ended up on the beach. Nothing to do in bad weather. The hotel only has one (expensive) restaurant and a small shop selling drinks and chips. It's difficult and expensive to get into civilization. We left 2 days earlier.

Small picturesque hotel on the beach. It has everything to be perfect, except the location which is lacking. We had a 3-day stay planned at this hotel, but we ended up only staying one night because we chose to go to Koh Phi Phi to visit, but the hotel being out of the way and only accessible by boat, we We canceled the other two nights. If you are looking for tranquility, being on the beach with your feet in the water, this hotel is ideal. The staff is exceptionally kind as you see nowhere else. The little cabins are simple and have everything you need. Contrary to some reviews, the hotel is well maintained and the water is clean. We had no problem at this level. You should know that there are only two round trips to reach the city center by boat per day, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., which leaves little time to visit. If you take a water taxi, the trip will cost you at least 800 bat. And please note that no trips are made after 5 p.m.

If you are looking for isolation this accommodation is for you. We spent one night and it was very nice. Very calm. The rooms look like small cabins, the style is very natural but all the comfort is there. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. I don't understand the bad reviews. On an island it can be normal for the current to go out or for the water to run brown, there's nothing they can do about it. But personally we had none of that. The only problem is that it is only accessible by boat so it’s not practical. Because there are only two free shuttles from the hotel. Otherwise afterward you have to pay and in the evening there is none so that doesn't allow you to go eat where there are all the restaurants etc on the island.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL LEAVE RUNNING, IT'S A SCAM!!!! To begin with, a few days before arriving, they told us that there was a shuttle boat at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. from the port of Ton Sai but that if we arrived at another time, we should notify them by phone. We arrived at Phi Phi at 3:30 p.m. because for various reasons we arrived later and had to go change money and buy something. We called the hotel by phone and they told us that we have to go on our own with a taxi (I clarify that it cost us €30 for 15 minutes by boat). When we arrived, the receptionist told us that this information was on the Booking page (finally it was in the additional information section, although I think it seems important information to put on the main page and to be reminded via message since EVERYONE falls into this trap. In addition, he informed us that the shuttle boat costs 200 THB/person/trip, so if you want to leave the hotel because there is only this way, the joke costs you €20.When we came back from dinner, we found rat poop on the bed (on top of the bed and inside the cushions). And when we entered the bathroom we found cockroaches (truly quite large, thumb size). It was between 10pm and 11pm, we went down to the reception and restaurant area to see if there were hotel staff but everyone had left. We called several times the contact that states that you can call from 10 pm for any emergency and they did not answer the phone. If something happens to you, on a beach where there is only access by sea, what do you do?Obviously we haven't slept at all listening to rat noises, we even saw one of them walking around our room, and killing cockroaches every time we wanted to go to the bathroom. We were reading many reviews on Booking and Google and we realized that this has happened to many people, how can it be that this hotel has a good rating? We understand that you may have bugs in the room since you are in the middle of the jungle but rats and cockroaches is unhealthy. They are aware that there are rats since there is a sign in the room that says do not bring food because rats can enter. In the morning, we arrived at reception and said that we wanted to leave and they didn't even care about the reason since we had paid for two nights. We took the shuttle boat at 8am to escape from this place that is a scam since we wanted to pay €80/night for a nice, well-kept and quiet villa and not for a villa full of bugs and without any type of security against any type emergency.

The hotel is in a nice location, the bay is really beautiful.BUT: absolutely not justified by the price!- Since the journey can only be reached by long-tail boat, you are bound to this type of journey. The shuttle service is not free (except check in/check out). There are 4 set times (2 to the hotel, 11:30am, 1:30pm and two away from the hotel 8:00am and 12:30) which cost 200 Baht per person - One Way!You can also drive at other times, but you have to negotiate the prices with the taxi driver. So you are more or less tied to the hotel.- The restaurant is of course more expensive here than in the center (you are tied down). Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing, but that could also be a matter of taste.- There is no closet in the beach bungalows. Some nails are sticking out of the floor, the bathroom is very small and has no storage space.- The breakfast is very meager compared to other hotels- There is still some construction work here, a minimart has been empty for ages and the roof terrace above the restaurant is not yet finished. This means that you are once again obliged to buy drinks, snacks, etc. for more money in the restaurant.- The double bed was very small, taller people's feet stick out at the bottom. The mosquito net was broken and the bed smelled and had stains. We noted all of these things at reception. Unfortunately, we were shown little understanding; it was argued that it was the same everywhere else on the island. We were suggested to walk to the center. The route takes an hour through the jungle. Here too, the route is not recommended after 4 p.m. because of the animals and the lack of reception. We booked through Booking and unfortunately had no free cancellation option. When we said this to reception, they said that we should have just approached them directly before checking in, then apparently we could have canceled for free. However, since we only expressed our concerns after check-in, there is no longer any possibility of a refund. How were we supposed to know that?Tip to everyone who would like to go:Read everything carefully on the website in advance. If you want a vacation with a lot of peace and quiet and the prices don't matter, you can also have a nice time here. Apparently the larger huts higher up are a bit better maintained.Otherwise, the 4 of us unfortunately cannot recommend it because the price is not there. We paid over 100 euros per night per bungalow in the low season.
