In my opinion, the bad reviews are unjustified. As a European, I wouldn't use the shared kitchen or washing machine, but the bedroom and bathroom are extremely clean and comfortable except for the shower. But that is to be expected in Thailand. A great place to sleep

The worst place I have ever stayed at throughout ALL my travelling. The stuff were unpolite, not nice and when I was asking for their help they were rude and shouting at me.You can find a much better place with a pleasant vibe for the same price.

The fact that it was the cheapest on the whole island, so it was good. The owner is nice and when we needed help, he helped us. The price corresponds to the quality :)

Paid for a month’s stay and had to leave due to unexpected circumstances after one night. They didn’t offer any sort of refund, which is fair enough I suppose, but when trying to reason with them and get a partial refund, the guy working there started shouting, punching the door and calling the police. He was totally unavailable for any reasonable communication and instead turned to violence. Was being reasonable and polite the whole time, and ended up being threatened by the owner and her son.

Very agressive staff. A girl booked for a month, paid in advance and had to leave after a few days due to family circumstances. She couldnt get any money back which is one thing, but they threatened her and called the police on her while she was nothing but polite and patient.

It is a good place to stay, not noise and loud, but still central. It is near the beach and if you are in good shape and you walk up the stairs you arrive the beautiful viewpoint (see pictures).

I read many bad reviews but couldn’t understand why a well intentioned person would write them. The location is good and is close enough to the action but far enough away that you can sleep easy. There is plenty of space in the rooms. The rooms are perfectly simple and more than adequate. It was a joy staying here and I will be back again.

It is the worst hotel I have had on my trip through the southeast.The walls are broken, the bathroom is dirty and old. It really is very expensive for the shame it offers. I have not stayed for that price in something so bad in the entire Southeast.

Short review:Per+ Close to the city center, few steps+ Distanced enough not to be too loud at night+ AC works+- Room relatively clean but spartanly furnished (no shower gel, no closet shelves for clothes)+ Kettle - cutlery - possibility to wash and hang up laundryMinus- Bathroom is in need of renovation- Flow falls from the wall.- Rotting in the bathroom here and there but not dangerous to your healthSummaryIf you can handle medium to low Thailand standards and don't expect western standards, you can book it for a few nights. If you want to stay overnight with a feel-good factor, this is the wrong place for you. It's a pretty decent place to sleep. Beds are spring mattresses, relatively comfortable.

Service friendly but they do not accept card. Room has clean sheets but mouldy ceilings and cobweb ridden light-shades. Door does not fully close and windows are just glass slats. Aircon does not really do much, we had to ask for a spare fan. We ended up moving to another hotel.

Very basic rooms although they have air conditioning. Quite small sink.The worst thing was that at night the people in the next room would go outside to talk until the wee hours of the morning and leave everything unpicked, bottles and clothes on the floor.Add that the owner or the workers were almost never at the reception and we had problems asking for, for example, more toilet paper.Very good location although you have to climb some stairs and at night there is no light at all.
