I booked a room with a balcony-turned out they have no rooms with balconies. The window from my room was facing a broken wall like 50 cm away, always dark, I could hear every sound from outside, dogs, chickens, peoples conversations, cooking in the kitchen or washing dishes, men spiting or listening to music , kids playing and yelling. Feel very tired after the stay. Exhausted. Every morning at 6 am there’s a government speaker that shouts loudly something in Lao , it felt like every morning at 6 am someone starts shouting in my room. It lasts till 10 am. And it’s very very loud.I respect the country, culture and everything-but if you want to feel refreshed in the morning and get some good sleep-this place is hardly it. After it’s getting dark all the dogs are outside and are very aggressive. I don’t recommend going out without a vehicle after 7 pm. the staff is very nice.

There are rooms in both new and old buildings. The new building was full, so we stayed in the old building. The old building has single rooms. The double bed room and single bed room don't look very pretty. So I chose a double room. It looked nice and clean, but the air conditioner was not very cool. Free breakfast. The first day got fried eggs and hot dog bread. The second day got Pak Mor but no dipping sauce. The room price was 300,000 kip, a little far from the restaurant. But the accommodation also sells a little made-to-order food.

We had booked two rooms and one of them did not have a window. The staff was not very welcoming… and avoid breakfast. They had it prepared in advance... and so we had fried eggs and cold sausage that had been waiting for us for a while...However, the bed was comfortable.

A nice find in Savannakhet. Located right near the old town and the river. The room I had didn't have a window but saying that it was large and it was brand new. It has a TV but no fridge or safe but it really didn't matter to me. I would definitely stay here again. Great value too.

Was Happy with my stay here. The rooms were modern ( i stayed in the new building) for 40,000 kip more . So 400,000 kip in total.The staff were good. Mainly the owner of hostel, he spoke very good English and Recommended a scooter hire place called marvelaos!The location is near the night market and a two Minute walk from the main street and the Mekong river!The area is safe and has a laid back vibe to it. Not much going on but perfect if you want to gather yourself.My room had a magnetic keycard lock. The room was big and very modern.

March 2024 update: The hotel lost its minimalist vibe a bit with the addition of rattan furniture and embroidered textiles (in the first building), and isn't as spotless as there was a cockroach hiding in the wooden panelling in my room. Rooms in the original building are now 300,000 kip, including a very cutely presented breakfast at their small eatery.September 2022: Spotless and modern, minimalist rooms (in the back building). Within less than 10 mins walking distance of the old quarter. At 120,000 kip per night, this is of fantastic value. Owner Santi is friendly and speaks great English too.

Book via whatsapp to get a cheaper rate. Owner is very responsive.Helpful owner, helped with bus to Pakse.Room was good for the price, there were a few mosquitoes initially but had no issues once they were gone. Had a great night's sleep with a cosy duvet+AC.Breakfast is not that great but is cheap.Pretty near the night market which is good for dinner.Would stay again

Fantastic find in Savannakhet. Super clean and new. Only one windowless room was available by the time we arrived but it was an absolute blessing since it was absolutely boiling outside (early March 2024). We were staying in the newest part of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and large, the bathroom spotless. The owner is a very kind, informative and interesting person. We loved chatting to him. He is Laotian and speaks English:-) The place is 10 mins walk to the Mekong river, to the old quarter and to the lively food night market where you can eat. We rented a bike and visited the ins and outs of Savannahket. We absolutely recommend the hotel as it was one of the cleanest we ever come across in south east Asia.Lovely stay.

room decoration The style of the building outside and inside the rooms is considered minimalist, not very big. The beds are clean, the blankets and towels are clean and have a light scent. The bed is soft enough, not very soft. And the pillows are not too high and just right. Overall, if you want to go to sleep and relax, I recommend it because at night it will be very quiet because it is not the main road that cars pass by. But for those who want to be close to places to drink, eat, and travel, it may be a bit far. If you have a car, it's not difficult.

Felt a bit expensive and didn't have the option of not having breakfast.The temporary room had a smelly toilet (had to keep the door closed constantly)*Something happened that night I gave her Key to me for 200,000. In the morning, a man told me that he had only given 150,000.

The accommodation is ok, the food is ok, but the 2 stars are given becauseI have been staying since April 29th and informed the staff that I will be staying for a long time. If you want to check out, you will be notified at least 2 days in advance. I have already asked the staff if it is possible to stay longer. There are no vacant rooms yet reserved. But on the 8th dayThe hotel instead told me to check out on the 9th because there would be guests who had reserved a total of 10 rooms at the hotel, including the room I was staying in. There was no employee who came to ask if I would stay longer or not.
