Chakkai Village has a very good old vibes emphasizing on village living, surrounded by fruits trees and coconut trees.The 2nd floor has magnificent sunset view. You can enjoy the breeze while swinging in hammock.Room is clean and spacious, with WiFi available. Location is very good with short distance to Kuala Perlis, Kangar and surrounding area. You can find many delicious and famous restaurants nearby.The host Wilson brought me and kids to walk the surrounding and introduced us all kinds of tropical fruits. He is also very kind enough to chop 2 fresh pandan coconuts for my kids, which they enjoyed!The host told me his future plan to continue to add more facilities to Chakkai: a camping area and small boat for canoing.I'll definitely come back again.

This is the best place in Perlis to take a break from city life with its tranquility and calmness in the middle of paddy field. Friendly and helpful owner, clean and spacious room, comfortable and refreshing environment which are great to recharge yourself!Bless your eyes with greenery unpolluted paddy field views and take a short nap on the hammock while enjoying the wind + fresh coconut from the owner!I will definitely pay a visit again soon! Thank you for the great hospitality and keep it up!

A hidden gem near kuala perlis. Location is quite secluded, and offers tranquility. When there during the northern wind season, so its windy and refreshing throughout the day.This homestay is opened less than a year, so things are new. Room is super clean.The owner is around this time, offering great hospitality. My kids enjoy the activities there. Flying kites, special bikes, hammock and swings.The homestay is till work in progressing. The owner shared his plan, and there will be more family/kid's oriented family coming up soon.Sure will come back in the future.

We stayed here for 2 nights. First day we arrived late at night and we were doubted awhile thinking we entered the wrong road as it was very dark. Finally we saw the gate with a signage ‘Chakkai Village’ and a mobile number to call. Finally, we checked in smoothly after meeting Wilson the owner.Our car parked right infront of our room which is very convenient. Room is very clean with 2 double bed. Very spacious complete with cups, hangers, toiletries, hair dryer, aircon and ceiling fan too. Water dispenser is outside the room where you can get cold and hot water.Wilson also treat all their guests coconut drinks fresh from his farm.Very near to Restaurant Api-Api Ikan Bakar and to Kuala Perlis too. Good for family who want their kids to experience some farming n Kampong life.Highly recommend!
