Chareena Hill Beach Resort

I came to Koh Lipe for the first time. Come with a foreign boyfriendThe first 2 nights stayed at Idillic concept resort. We were very impressed with the beautiful rooms. Good atmosphere Professional service, but on the 3rd night, chose to stay at Chareena here and saw a huge difference in management. I understand that with location and atmosphere, there's not much you can do about it. But management and service, everyone can do it. I left my bicycle on the transport ship. The hotel is responsible. You always informed that you would do it for me smoothly until it arrived at the school where I was staying, Idillic. The transport ship left at 10.30 on the 24th of February. I received the bicycle from you at 2.35 on the 25th. Feb. I paid 750 baht for 1 trip for 2 bicycles, not including the return trip. You cite many reasons. But what can be proven is Your hotel does not have good internal coordination. The admin informed one thing. The delivery man informed another thing. The reception informed another thing. And while waiting, there was no action to contact customers at all. It's only me who has to follow every step with your employees. Even Idillic, itself, has informed me repeatedly that..my bicycle hasn't arrived yet..very impressed with Idillic. May you guys learn and fix it...thank you.

When we booked our trip, most resorts on the island is booked out, so we were left without many choices. Chareena is quite a disappointing resort. We booked three nights, the room is never tidied up, no one collect trash or top up bottled water which wasn’t a bit ask I believe.Also no one on duty from 9 pm. Try to avoid this place. Koh lipe is a beautiful place, and choose a better accommodation to make the holiday nice

The place is located on the main beach but in the quietest area. The rooms and service are in line with the price. The staff is very friendly 😍

We spent two nights at Chareena Hill Beach Resort and were very happy with our stay there. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was also very tasty (everything was delicious). The view from the rooms was an absolute dream and the hammock on the veranda was also a special feature. Because it is a bungalow, mosquitoes get into the room very quickly - but the room had mosquito plugs and mosquito spray, which were provided by the hotel. It is the perfect accommodation, especially for couples, as it was very romantic with the view and the direct beach location. We would book the Chareena again every time! :)

Don't let the fake pictures and fake reviews misleading you, something like, exceptional, great Seaview, best hotel in this island. 4.3 stars review. 100% misleading.After I saw all the great reviews and photos in Agoda, I decided to book a family room with "grand" Seaview for 3 nights.I arrived the island by speeds boat at 1pm, the bellboy already waiting for me at the port and help me carry the luggage to the hotel (This bellboy is only plus sign for this hotel). This hotel is located in the far end of Pattaya beach, it took a while to get there from the back road, if you just walk on the Beach, it is 10 minutes walk from where the boat docked.After I checked in to the hotel, my first impression is this hotel is so old, the stairs lead us to the lobby and the rooms is very narrow and old not not in good condition. You need to walk very careful. The beach in front of the hotel is very dirty full of trashes, I don't think the ever clean the beach in front of of its own property.My room is on the top floor so have to walk many stairs to get there. First thing I did is walk out to the balcony to check out the :grand Seaview". What a joke, so call grand Seaview actually is partial view of the water. It may had grand Seaview 10 years ago when the view not yet covered by big trees , now the view is very limited like a small windows you can look out the water.(see photos below)Nightmare Started after I turned on the water, water came out from the faucet and showers was brown and smell bad. I can tell this is due to rusty pipes. The front desk did send someone try to fix it, he let the water run for 20 minutes but still brown. I tell him stop, not wasting anymore water then he left.That is no way I can use that water to brush my teeth and clean my face. Front desk agree to provide drinking water for us to use but how about showers? We have no choice has to use that dirty water to take shower. My daughters refuse to take showers that night.Another nightmare is the room is full of small ants. I left my cake on the table, it still warped by plastic bag but inside the cake fill with hundreds of Ants. At that point I make a decision to move out.I originally booked 3 nights and I already paid. I told the front desk, I want to check out tomorrow due to hotel condition, the hotel told me i need to reach out to Agoda to request the cancellation. I did but Agoda was having issue to reach out to the hotel front desk. Agoda told me no one pickup the phone,I am not going to wait for the approval of my cancellation, I went ahead booked 2nd hotel in the island for the next two nights even I may lost $240 (two nights), I will not stay in this place any longer. I am not going to let this place mess up my vacation.Next morning, I moved to Ananya Beach Resort. I only paid $169 for Ananya resort, it is only $40 more compared to chareena hill beach resort but Ananya is is much much nicer true 4 stars hotel. The family room I booked has pool access it has 3 levels, 1st floor is living area, 2nd and 3rd FL are Bed rooms. Each floor have it own bathroom. This hotel is next to walking street, move to this place is the best decision I ever made.I finally got the email from Agoda after few days hotel agreed to refund the remain 2 nights and credit back to my credits card.Anyway, I wrote this review to warm people do not believe the fake reviews, Stay away if you can.

I must commend the staff as they worked late into the evening to address issues with the air conditioning on our first night until they successfully resolved it. Overall, they are very friendly and cheerful. Tnx and keep up the good work! 👍

Love the view from the balcony of our room.

The view from the room is the best I've ever seen👌🤌🫶🫶!! The room is standard. The bed is acceptable. A bathroom with a tree in the middle (I think not in all rooms) is exotic. The breakfast is excellent🤌🤌 also with the most beautiful view of the main beach of the island 🏝️!!!

Superb resort, room (303) with a superb view 🤩 (not directly on the beach, but with a few trees before which adds charm). Don't trust dated reviews.Small downside: only one night disrupted by a concert organized by another resort..Great choice for breakfast.

My friends and I Check in at this beautiful resort on 15th. Stayed for two nights. We were lucky because it’s low season so it wasn’t crowded. Staff here was extremely friendly and helpful!To be honest, we were quite scared and also prepared an alternative to check in another resortDue to the bad review on Google!But, upon arrival, everything was great! Service exceptional! Book and Siti from reception was very helpful . After mentioning about the bad review, Book showed us the condition of the rooms before checking in. It’s was amazing. Beautiful clean rooms! with an AMAZING VIEW!!Siti helped to arrange a last minute snorkling trip in the morning itself but please book a day in advance. As I said low season now , so it’s different .Staff of resort was cleaning the beach and fixing the stairs .PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEW ON GOOGLE!The only disadvantage about this resort is the distance to walking street and other beach . We often take taxi which cost 50batt/ person to any location.Food is good. But portion of certain food items was abit too small. Chef wasn’t accommodating on our first breakfast but server Khing was very friendly and understanding. Day two breakfast was so much better.Overall everything was good. We enjoyed our stay here in ko lipe .
