Sadly we were not able to stay (boat cancelled) - Forra Dive Resort were super understanding and gave us a full refund (no fuss). We have really wanted to stay at this beautiful property - it really is the Thailand backpacker dream - bamboo huts on the beach! Really hope we can make it one day. Thank you to the Forra team for your supportive and excellent service.

It is not really Seaview at all, and you have to walk the road to get to the Sea.The young farang diving instructors seemed high on weed, I didn’t want to risk life of anyone I know with them and just went somewhere else.There is no service for breakfast in the hotel.The reception closed very early as the staff is farang.Rooms are nearby a very busy scooter street and not insulated from the noise.As an experienced traveler to this island, please be informed that this resort could disgust you if the island and could make a bad memory.

I had an amazing time at Forra!The hostel is very nice, we had a bungalow and it was good (only missing aircon but we knew there wasn't; and we got some cockroaches every now and then but you know what you get when you get a bungalow!), the common area was nice, the location is great on Sunrise beach and just about 10 minutes walk from Walking street.The diving was the best part! I started my open water with Luciano and he was great! Amazing diving sites! Shout out to Valeria which was super nice and helpful, and Yan and Raf other 2 amazing instructors (and people!)

NB! BEDBUGS! We booked a bungalow with Forra for 3 days. After checking the mattress it turned out to be full of BEDBUGS!After consultation we left and immediately started looking for another place to stay.The French owner had promised to give us a refund and solve the problem.This NEVER happened. It is now 2 weeks later and we have not received a refund yet.Be prepared for bed bugs and check the mattresses. You don't have to expect any sympathy from the French owner 😔

Incredible establishment, the bungalows are simple but very comfortable, the place is sublime. The team is very warm and we enjoyed the restaurant, kayaks and diving. 2 successful baptisms with a team that builds confidence with gentleness and enthusiasm. Special mention for Louise who was very gentle and allowed us to have an unforgettable experience.Thank you all, I recommend!

It’s been 5 years since I learned to scuba diving here and the trauma is still with me until now. If you are a beginner, this place is a horrible place to start your first training. The trainers are not professional. Looks like the trainers are only backpackers stopping by this island and trying to make some money while traveling here.There were 5 of us and they gave us only 2 trainers. One of them only took care of his gf (who was a server at their restaurant and somehow got to practice diving with us). So there is only 1 trainer left and he didn’t seem to be able to handle all 5 of us. I almost die trying to dive here.The owner is also an arrogant man. He refused to give me a refund when I wasn’t able to dive anymore, which was fine to me, but the thing is he was so RUDE about it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Can’t believe Thailand let these arrogant Falang live and make money here and do things like this to Thai people.

Thank you sooo much for a perfect stay, we were very much looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The island is beautiful in every respect. Valerie is a wonderful host and the lady in the bar was wonderful. We will be back in 2 years. Please don’t change a thing.🥰🥰

Just spent the last 14 days at Forra dive resort on Pattaya beach. There’s a dive shop on the premises as well as in walking street, which is absolutely amazing. The bungalows are great and cozy and right on the beach. The staff are amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

100% reccomend, best scuba diving school and experience in Koh Lipe. We just finished our open water padi course with Forra Diving and thanks to their professionalism and teaching skills both me and my wife passed the exam after a 3 day course which included theory and open water dives in some of the nicest diving locations in Koh Lipe. Since we weren't sure how this new experience will be we was suggested to do first the recreational dives to see how we feel and then proceed with the course. Rafaniel which was our Diving instructor was very professional and patient explaining and sharing with us all the right informations, books ,videos in order to make the course and all the skills easy to master. All the staff was very helpfull and friendly including the tail boat and diving boat captain. If you happen to be in Koh Lipe and considering diving or getting a padi open water certificate which you can use worldwide, forra dinving is the right place.

We stayed at the accommodation for about 10 days and it was a very pleasant experience. The cabins are located in front of a beach and less than 10 minutes walk from the center. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have a very nice community space to rest, read, have a drink, etc. I would return without hesitation.

It was my first dive in my life. My girlfriend and I chose the fun diving option (3 dives in one day? I can't complain about anything (except seasickness, but forra is not responsible for that🤮)The diving took place in a pleasant atmosphere, everything was explained to us thoroughly, no one rushed us. A very successful time:) I recommend it to anyone who wants to start their adventure with diving.

I recently had the pleasure of diving with Forra Dive Center, and my experience exceeded all expectations. From my initial fun dive to completing my Open Water certification, the journey with Forra Diving was nothing short of amazing.Garth, the dive instructor, deserves special commendation for his outstanding guidance and expertise. His passion for diving is evident, and he made every session enjoyable and educational. Garth's patience and clear instructions made me feel comfortable, even as a beginner.The entire team at Forra Diving demonstrated a perfect blend of professionalism and a fun, friendly atmosphere. Had such a great time diving with Forra. Such a fun and lively crew. JP was my guide and all I can say is WOW! He was so good. He took extra care of me especially when I got lost and accidentally started following a different guide, JP noticed and found me right away. We saw many things including cutter fish, lion fish and moray eels. The boat was spacious and comfortable. We had a great, fun ride. Can’t wait to get wet and splash with Forra again!
