I stayed in the deluxe bungalow which is fully equipped. Including a lovely bed!The location is perfect for me to explore the island by scooter. By scooter you can reach Bao Bang Beach in 5 minutes for a beautiful sunset.My scooter was also in perfect condition and wonderful to drive.Given a few reviews I've read, I want to clarify something.Kung, the owner, is a powerful woman with a heart for the business, but also for her family, including all the animals she cares for. When I stayed here, 2 of her grandchildren were staying with her and they also helped her serve, which was very touching.Kung works super hard, cooking delicious food for her guests. She even makes her own cake, ice cream (which I can recommend), even her own sauces. Her curry tastes delicious!She arranges everything for you, in and around your stay. So I hope that future guests can also show compassion for the fact that she is not constantly behind the reception desk.I hope to return here in the future and see Kung realizing her dreams for Kuba's bungalows. This is the 2nd time we have gone to Kuba and have tested several different accommodations. All are 100% top quality/price. There is something for every budget and the service is always 5*! We can't wait to come back and of course we will return to Pikung and Baz! I love the perfect balance between “you are at home in your bungalow” and “you live with the locals and are part of the community” that we find at Kuba! Pikung bends over backwards to satisfy all your desires and is always available. You just have to ask! We love it and feel like home!

Unfortunately very inconsistent service. Boss is always very friendly and helpful. Otherwise it's all up to the wife's whim. Our bathroom was always under water after showering and the tiler didn't pay attention to the required incline. You have to push the water back and forth for minutes with a rubber squeegee. That's annoying, you always have to go into the damp bathroom. ...... Almost no storage space, has to live out of the backpack (but you can see in the photos, hence our mistake). Nice location, lots of animals audible, could only sleep 2-3 hours for 1-2 nights. No windows to open. Couldn't stop sweating......only for Aircon lovers!

Very nice, clean bungalows run by a friendly British Thai couple. Good food and value and they have some nice ciders on the menu. There's a good massage place next door. It's about 20 min walk from the beach so like everywhere on the island, having a scooter is very helpful

It's a very nice place in the jungle, quiet, amazing food and the owners are very kind.
The only thing is that in the room there's almost no space to open your luggage but somehow we managed
