The best location is in the city. tourist area Near the night market, good wifi signal, ok staff.But the room is small, old and very shabby. Should be renovated a bit.

Well, whether this hotel is good or bad depends on the person's travel style. I thought the price was a little high. I think a little over 1000 yen in Japanese yen is a reasonable price. The staff are nice people, so I don't think you'll regret it too much if you stop by out of curiosity.

They dont clean the bed sheets
they just make the bed upside down!! Thats crazy🤮, i noticed the marks on the bed sheet because i stayed 2 nights....

I had come to visit 2 days before, and I had paid/booked in Mixok 1 which is right next door, for 2 nights (+ possibility of long stay, since we live in Vientiane with my daughter), a large clean room and clear with 2 single beds ... the guy warned me: "don't come before 1:00 p.m." ... so we leave our old Hotel, we arrive at 1:00 p.m., and the guy tells me: "we are full ... but I have a room at the same price" ... I visit, nothing to see, small room, dark, only one bed ... I asked to be refunded, luckily the guy didn't problem... but we find ourselves on a Sunday at 1:00 p.m., in the heat of the day without a reserved room... that shows the seriousness of these 2 Mixok Guesthouses on the same sidewalk... because they are of the same ilk, frequented by backpackers (some quite drunk), it's not very nice... that day, it was invaded, crowded with people, a crowd of guys (Indians or Pakistanis, with beards and turbans), on the terrace and in the ground floor room, who looked at my daughter like they were starving to death...finally, I was rather reassured to leave this place...

In the capital Vientiane, private rooms are cheap, but if you can stay in a dormitory, it's comfortable enough considering the price. The staff are friendly and the location is good, just a few minutes walk from the night market.

When we arrived at the place, the boys told us that they sold the room we booked already and they tried to get another room in other place I didn’t agree to us which I didn’t think it’s right thing to behave like that in the tourism business

The room was very clean, staff are all very friendly and helpful.The food was delicious but if you dont want it spicy you must advise them beforehand. Close proximity to everything. Night and morning markets, banks, restaurants, shops and etc.

Three of us stayed for half a day to store our luggage before boarding our flight.It's cheap and has a shower and air conditioning.Don't lean on the bed, it's noisy outside. There is no elevator refrigerator.The location is good.

This place was honestly gross. I asked for a pillowcase (because there was none) and then got one with a blood stain on it. Other than that I didn't think the staff was very helpful/kind. I got there with an ankle injury, so I had a hard time walking...I asked if the receptionist could help me get a taxi to the hospital and he just said "no, don't have taxi". He could have put in some more effort to help me. Would've been appreciated. I didn't feel comfortable there, so I left after I got back from the hospital.

I found a cheap place for 0.5 nights, and got a good stay for $14.There are plenty of food, entertainment, and even massages nearby.
