Best beach front resort location on Koh Jum with white sand ocean bottom (no rocks like other resorts), best food on island hands down, quaint traditional Thai style bungalows to relax in, eat dinner on the beach. Enjoy my stay here.

Lovely and peacefull place at a phaemomenal beach. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent and the prices low.|Very clean and nice bungalows.Perfect for couples or families.|We will be happy to come back soon to this beautifull place|

Run by an Englishman and his Thai wife, this small resort is at the top. The bungalows are spacious and well spaced from each other. We eat on the beach, delicious meals prepared. The beach is large, not the most beautiful but more than enough to have a good time. As a bonus, the sunsets with Koh Phi Phi in the distance.

Very friendly and helpfull staff and the owner is also very nice. Food was delicious. Bungalows are made of bamboo and wood so you can expect some bugs at night. But this is normal when you decide to spend few nights in jungle over the beach. The bungalows are located over the sea area where you can swim (there are no rocks like near the other resorts).

If you're looking for a nice place to stay while on Koh Jum search no more. Woodland Lounge is a small, family owned resort with everything you need. Don't expect luxury, but bungalows are nice and clean, with private bathroom and shower. Good value for money. The owner runs kitchen herself, and the food is really great. She's also very friendly and helpful, so she can arrange you a taxi, motorbike or advise where to go for a walk or swim - because you can use resrort's kayak to take a boat trip. It's also great place to rest, you can sleep how long you want, read books and take a brake from crowdy, noisy towns and islands. Owners and staff are english speakers, so there is no problem with comunication. And there are four dogs and two cats on the spot, so if you like animals is's a nice bonus :)

Hands down the best spot on Jum. Ray and Sao are friendly and accomodating whilst Fon's food is exceptional. I've tried most of the places along this beach over the last five years, some better than others, but for a drink, relaxing meal or just hanging out in a quiet, secluded location, you can't beat this place. It's a bit of a hidden gem.

Looked into stayed at this resort, however, it failed on many accounts for us. Poor dated and over priced rooms.||I would strongly suggest a walk up the beach, either way for better equipped accommodation and more helpful staff. This place has seen its day!😞

Best at Koh Jum for those who seeks quite, calm, solitude. No crowds, best place on the beach for swimming at low tide - 50 metres left from here, exellent mobile signal (for True). Hammock, sunbeds on the beach, flowers and butterflies in the garden, birds sing all the day long, peace & tranquility, perfect view to the sunset from the cafe. A touch of wabi sabi & mono no aware. 15 classic bungalows. No aircon. English-thai couple owned. Est 2000. Electricity 24H. Hot water (low pressure), friendly stuff. Good food, affordable prices.
