I made a booking via the website of Hop Inn. Arrived at the hotel they couldn't find my reservation. I showed the lady a printout of my reservation, but she made it into a big drama. She had rooms available and could say sorry and just make a new booking at the start. Also she didn't accept my Pink Thai ID for identification.Maybe she didn't she one before, but she acted ignorant. Maybe she can need some training in service mindness and professionalism.The hotel itself is okay. Location is good.The room is small. Very clean. The room was noisy, could hear a lot from nextdoor.

Our first stay at a Hop Inn hotel, and perhaps the last too.This hotel chain is all over Thailand, offering budget rooms on the higher side of the price spectrum (typically around 700B). We haven't stayed at a Hop Inn before as we found them to be pricy for what they offer. But there were not that many hotel choices when we arrived in Suphanburi due to a long weekend, so we took one of the available rooms at Hop Inn.The overall experience was ok, but nothing memorable: the room was very small, sparsely equipped and sterile looking. The TV had only a handful of local stations and was mounted in a way that we could not connect our Google TV to the HDMI port. Sleep comfort was average, and instant coffee was provided in the lobby.Given that similar priced hotels in Thailand (including the B2 chain) offer rooms that are larger and with a bit more comfort and character, we think this wasn't worth the 680B per night.

We have reserved a total of 7 nights (2 rooms).Entered on the second night due to insufficient parking and it was raining at that time at 12:30 (12:30 midnight).I found a parking space with a cone placed to block it. I went down to inquire with this security officer and it was said...the customer reserved a parking space and couldn't let us double-park instead, so we asked back that parking was reserved here. Can you do that too? The officer informed me that a customer had reserved a car to run errands and would come back soon...(We couldn't park)So we went to ask the staff at the front desk...the front desk quickly fixed it and went to talk to the security guard that we couldn't make a reservation. (How do you get customers to make reservations?) If you come later, you have to park in double parking.The security guard informed that customers who had reserved several nights' sleep (So we're not your customers???The service of security guards (very bad) should be improved better than this.It was well resolved by the front staff.

Small room, musty smell, Amarty kit is not provided (you have to ask for it yourself). Suitable for just sleeping and then going outside to do business. There is no restaurant, but there are a few snacks for sale. The staff are not very friendly, especially the check-in staff. Always frowning Doesn't help solve the check-in problem. Looks confused.The only advantage is that it is close to the City Pillar Shrine, the Heavenly Dragon.P.S. If the agency doesn't reserve for you. Probably won't go to stay again.
