Hidden gem in Chiangdao, own by indigenous Karen family. the owner was super nice, kind and communicative. the room was very clean and comfortable. The balcony has spectacular view of Chiangdao.There’s free breakfast you could request for traditional Karen food or Thai food. 10 mins walking to the hot spring. Overall was a very relaxing stay. Highly recommended!! Please keep support local 🫶🏽

Very relaxing and peaceful place. Like so many others said, the owner is very friendly and attentive. The view is beautiful. You will be greeted by Chiang Dao mountain every morning, and it’s only a short walk to the hot springs. It’s no longer cornfields, but an orchard (much prettier imho). This stay has three rooms and camp sites on stilts with WC. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. The entire place is kept very clean. The area is within the Pga K’nyau village but just outside the main area so it is quiet and the air is clear. The owner is very respectful of nature and is trying to make a stay that reflects that. They offer breakfast too, traditional Pga K’nyau or Northern Thai style. We had both and have to say I was very impressed! This place is great for solo, couple or small groups. I highly recommend foreigners to come stay here to support the locals of Chiang Dao.

Cha Ge Po - A simple house in the style of a hill tribe. There are only three rooms. And there are many tent areas. In front, a view of the corn field and Doi Luang Chiang Dao. During the winter it will be a little cold. But during the summer it's cool at night. The daytime is a little hot. The weather is very nice and fresh, suitable for a quiet, peaceful stay. Breakfast is provided. and have grilled pork in the evening At night, the stars can be seen brightly. If you come during the winter, you will see the Milky Way very clearly. The owner is very cute.
