A Robinson-like place, like Thailand 20 years ago...The small wooden Bagalows offer the necessary comfort, shower and private toilet if necessary or to share. A fan and a mosquito net, we don't ask for anything else with our feet in the sand...The welcome from Chichai on his boat to bring us to safety accentuates the timeless aspect. Let yourself be tempted to stay there for a few days, a good book, mosquito repellent and off you go! Snorkeling, fishing, walks... Paradise.The beach here is the best on the island in my opinion!The cooks are top notch and so is the kindness of the whole team.I highly recommend and I will definitely come back 😉Thank you and see you soon 😍🙏Manuela

Exceptional accommodation in a natural paradise.Few cabins, very simple, in an unbeatable place, where you can find deep forest next to a beach with turquoise water and white sand.Ideal to enjoy nature in complete tranquility for more than 5-6 nights. You can snorkel, fish, swim, sunbathe, walk, read or just enjoy that small and almost private beach.It is the only accommodation on Koh Wai, of the 3 that exist, that has been run by a local family for 25 years. They are very attentive. They have a restaurant with an extensive menu with really delicious, fresh and varied food.You can reach the accommodation by ferry or speed boat.Without a doubt, it is a unique place where you can enjoy nature. I will repeat.

I'm here for the first time based on a recommendation and I'm thrilled. For everyone who wants to enjoy peace and nature, wonderful food and a fantastic beach, this is the perfect place.Chitchai and his family are super friendly, helpful and always up for fun.The accommodations are functional, clean and equipped with a fan.The food is super delicious, the fish is self-caught.All in all very recommendable!!!

At first he said ok, after one night he said no bacause you want to stay only one night.
So now we have no accommodation in Koh way.

The few but very positive reviews from Google Maps led us here and we can confirm a lot.It is an ideal place for a break from stressful life with beautiful inspiration above and below water.With his inner conviction and his natural smile, Chitchai manages communication, boat transfers and food orders, where wishes are also taken into account and much more.The menu is unimaginably diverse for such a remote place and the food tastes very good, the fish is often self-caught.There is no shopping facility on the island, but the food and drink at Ao Yai Ma is offered at a good price-performance ratio.Paths lead to other beaches, some with restaurants, so that a variety of food is possible for longer stays.The visibility under water is variable, we have had days and places with wonderful visibility, on other days it was limited. We could observe a large number of species of corals and fish.Be sure to take sunscreen and mosquito repellent with you on the island!Electricity is available in the evening to charge the batteries for the technology you bring with you and to operate the fans.Many thanks to Chitchai and his family for the wonderful time on the island!

Simple yet excellent stay in tranquil paradise. Chitchay, his sister and mother runs this beautiful place since 25 years back and Chitchay is a ray of sunshine with a constant welcoming smile. Fantastic snorkeling just of the resort beach with lots of fish and colourful coral.A must-stay place in a parallel universe without the stress of the modern world.
